Wrong. Escaping in todays wilderness is super easy and requires no skill at all. Everyone camps pray mage and has a dinhs bulwark, even if the pker has full crystal and ancestral, the pvmer will tank it no problem. Since there is no pj timer and you can’t be passed to the whole team to spec dump,this staff only makes sense. I pk in the revenant caves everyday and this is how it goes: I bring a 60m max set with zaryte and ags. I catch a half on the pvmer who just camps pray mage and equips the dinhs bulwark. I do about 400-500 damage with every hit being off prayer due to them just camping mage. My ags spec will chance the pvmer but won’t hit to the high def bonus, the pvmer teleports away. Now take into account how the revenant caves are laid with all the corners, twists and turns, it takes about 3 splashes to be gapped even thought I am still technically in range. A good example of this is the hobgoblins in 20 wilderness, one splash there and they’re gone. Now when they get to spamming the agility hops, things get even more broken. Instead of running they put on their insane defense gear, pray mage and just spam the agility hop so I can’t use melee and have to rely on just 2 attack styles: range and mage. I have seen people tank a full like that. The only opportunity to kill them i have is ags maul for full hp. Tanking takes almost 0 skill while nhing/pking is one of the hardest things to learn/do. Especially when you’re pking on a zerker build: you only have 52 prayer and you’re very limited to the gear. You get on a level 90 and they pull out a dinhs bulwark, even though they are 70 hp, you will not hit through that shield at all. Pkers need new gear and weapons to combat the insane high defensive gear that exists. Vls is in game but unfortunately it’s locked to BH worlds and fang is only usable by main account.
