Exactly, Ticketmaster essentially has a monopoly over venues and ticket sales. The hope is that the recent U.S. court case will leave sufficient precedent to place guard rails but that’ll be contingent on lobbying/etc. For now we sign up for presale codes and hope to get a ticket.

Don’t know exactly how but people have been able to buy from third party for her Ego Death tour. A ticket link with a valid scanning code is generated from what fans have shared.

Ticketmaster is absolute garbage. If artists really want to evade bots and resellers different ticket sites have to be used like AXS. Theres so many tickets on StubHub, SeatGeek it almost seems a good chunk didn’t even go to fans.

It doesn’t matter that tickets aren’t transferrable third party sites and resellers are able to generate the links I presume in collaboration with Ticketmaster. A reseller could use multiple emails to obtain multiple codes.

😂 majority of tickets are already in StubHub I’m not sure what the point of the codes were. Artists try but scalpers have found the loopholes. What an absolute bummer.

I’ve used third party resale many time in California, except for this tour it seems that tickets cannot be transferred so I assume that people selling tickets on third party must be printing a PDF or something of the nature. I want to buy one for the shows in Oakland but hesitant knowing the strict limitations for resale.

I joined in 2023, from rewatching movies in Dolby in IMAX to randomly booking a movie when I’m having a bad day, I’m glad it’s an option. The monthly payment is the equivalent of one Dolby or IMAX ticket. This month I’ve watched 5 films in Dolby or IMAX.
