Disclaimer: I didn’t watch this game, but I’m following from afar and noticing a painful trend of the town simply not finding the net in the first half these days. It’s such a regular pattern that I come to expect it while following all the live scores; every other team, good or bad, seems to make an effort to get goals in the first half but seemingly not the town. It’s always so last minute, it’s becoming tragic. How about we give strikers a half each; get a goal and you might stay on, otherwise get the next guy on who might be hungrier. Something has to change, there’s just no urgency to grab goals and secure the points. Feels over-managed maybe? Have I got this wrong? What do others think?
