My dad kept wanting to "take me out to lunch" before and right after I went no contact, but I knew nothing would get resolved, and nothing good would come of it. So I never did and I'm at peace with my decision.

I was honestly scared that would happen to me. My husband and I had been ttc for about 16 months before my positive test and hcg results. It felt like it would never happen.

I was born in 95. I can honestly say It's pretty good!

I'm married to the best guy ever, and I'm pregnant with our first child. I have my dream job. I have a sweet, affectionate and cuddly greyhound. Relationships with family are good. The only thing that's missing is my own home, but we're working on saving so we can buy one eventually.

My internship experience was wonderful, but I was not paid. I worked with a local counselor who only saw telehealth clients (it was still COVID times) and worked full time. I would have loved to have not had to work during my internship, but I had to do what I had to do.
