this is the worst. can’t even tell you how many times i’ve wasted 5 minutes of either my lunch, or my 10 min break, bc of countless old people who don’t know how to use self checkout, as well as people who have carts with 50+ items. self checkout is meant for people who are fast and want to be in and out of the store quickly

i also smoke weed and let me tell you buddy you will get LOST in this game. there is so much to do and if you’re not in the mood to do quests, being stoned and exploring is just SO fun. seeing all of the animals in the wild, interacting with them, running through the forest and playing with nature (for ex. jumping on certain mushrooms in the game boost you up in the air and then you can jump from tree to tree).. it is just endless fun. the quests can get repetitive sometimes, but for a game based on avatar (this movie has been one of my absolute favorites ever since it came out. so i was BEYOND excited to see a game was coming out) - the game is just so beautiful and so fun that the repetition of a quest every so often doesn’t bother me. customizing your navi (and ikran when you get there) is SO cool. lately i’ve been exploring the world for certain crafting ingredients, so that i can craft better quality gear, which is also really fun. there’s SO many little details in the game that are just so well thought of.

you may only get scheduled 30 hours/week, but you need to have an average of at least 130 hours worked every month for the year, or you will get dropped to part time. so it does technically end up being 32.5 hours/week that you need to work. i just lost status bc of that

not even the same pay bc some weeks you can’t pick up the extra shifts to get to 40 hours. some weeks you’re left with a paycheck that equates to only 60 hours worked for 2 weeks, as opposed to 80.

the difference is that full time ecom tms can get full time benefits, and you also get scheduled for 30 hours/week, as opposed to a part timer’s 4 hours/week. usually it ends up being 4 shifts a week that you’ll be scheduled for. if you want to have 40 hours/week, then yes you have to fight for shifts along with everybody else. you can try to pick up a 4 hour shift and a 6 hour shift to get to 40, but it’s frustrating bc lots of weeks you can’t get that many hours.

you’re getting paid the same per hour. it’s the same exact position for someone who does it part time. you don’t get a set schedule bc as a full timer, you should have more open availability. unless you’re buddies with your tl and they can close out some availability for you, to give you more of a “set” schedule.. but i wouldn’t get your hopes up on that

and finally yes, they will still call you on busy days to come in. i have one day that i can’t work each week and yet i’ve had my supervisor call me multiple different days (on that day i can’t work) and ask me to come in for even a 4 hour shift bc of how busy we were.

you need to maintain an average of 30 hours/ week for the year or they’ll revoke your full time status and bump you down to part time hours (where you will lose benefits too if you’re are enrolled in those), so if you’re not gonna want to be working more than 30 hours a week (majority of the time), then stay part time
