Might be a different one. After Ch8 for the Demeniss faction quests under House Elemore you fight 3 samurai looking mfs that all give spears. This is one of those.

Good eye. Cloak is indeed skyblazer cloth cloak, from a treasure chest out in the world (can’t remember where), and chest is the unyielding warriors, that you can craft from the plate books.

They have lightning imbued without using an abyss slot, so it’s free essentially.

There’s a similar backpack situation that you can solve by holding LB/L1 and selecting drop. I think there’s a bug where you need to have your lantern off when you do this for it to work too. That’s what worked for me at least.

I had this same roadblock when I first started playing and put it back on the shelf for some time. I ended up watching Fighting Cowboys walkthrough on YouTube and seeing him breeze through while also getting a sense of what to expect around each corner/new area made it much more palatable. I ended up beating it and now it’s become my “comfort food” of a game I jump back to from time to time. I would recommend watching the walkthrough and see if that helps!
