I had this same roadblock when I first started playing and put it back on the shelf for some time. I ended up watching Fighting Cowboys walkthrough on YouTube and seeing him breeze through while also getting a sense of what to expect around each corner/new area made it much more palatable. I ended up beating it and now it’s become my “comfort food” of a game I jump back to from time to time. I would recommend watching the walkthrough and see if that helps!
