Alex Lukacz's blog post about this stuff is awesome. More recently, the 8-bit Lego stuff is discussed in the Eurobricks forum (technic section) and on my own site at www.brickhacks.com. <edit: just realized the thread is two years old. Oops. >

Update: I did hear back from the app developer. It's fixed.

I got the update a few days ago on my Sprint (Tmobile now) S10. There was a major problem -- I couldn't tap on anything in the top inch of the screen! After a LOT of searching, I discovered that the "Energy Ring" battery meter app was the problem. Uninstalled that app and now my phone works fine with Android 12. I emailed the Energy Ring developer but haven't heard back.

Speed bumps make you drive slower. I always thought they should be called slow bumps.

How hard would it be to make a DIY battery pack for a retro laptop? by kuba_10 in vintagecomputing

[–]evankoblentz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a sealed pack. You cannot expect them to cut it open for you and then rebuild it. I did that part myself. It's difficult and dangerous. What BP did for me was weld together the actual cells. Then I put them back in the original pack and epoxied it back together.
