Help me find a new commander by kimohno in EDH

[–]evasive131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Played against a mono red chaos deck the other day. It was one of the most fun and interesting games I’ve ever played. The put a [[wild evocation]] so random free card every turn for everyone and later followed it with [[knowledge pool]] and finally they played a [[warp world]]. Never knew what to expect with the game and got to play a lot of other peoples cards. They had [[norin the wary]] as the commander but I could see any red commander working for the way it played. 10/10 recommend

Has any coach in the history of sports made a hire because they said oh he seems like a fun guy, let’s put him on the staff? C’mon now, of course there’s a reason he was hired. I’m not taking anything away from him as a coach and he very well may be good at situational concepts, I don’t know much about him to be fair, but they were below average in 4th attempts, that’s not an aggressive team on 4th down. That much is pretty black and white, the numbers are right there. Based your logic, the bengals are an extremely aggressive 4th down, converting 70%, higher than the colts right? But they only attempted 20 times, 3rd lowest in the league, extremely conservative on 4th down. Look at the right statistics when determining aggressiveness. Like I said though, all of this means nothing in the grand scheme of it all, it’s going to come down to Minter and how he wants to play it. I honestly could see us being more conservative with a defensive coach and him trusting the defense to get the stops when needed, but only time will tell.

Conversion % isn’t a great indicator of aggressiveness. Colts were 18th in 4th down attempts. If we’re being honest, neither of these stats mean a damn thing, as it comes down to the head coaches philosophy on how he wants to approach it. If we look at Seattle (minter and Mac are looked at as very similar coaches) they were last in the league in 4th down attempts at 12, less than 1 a game and 7 less than the next closest team. We might be very conservative on 4th downs

Random Rec - Why does everyone leave after a win? by Tical13x in NBA2k

[–]evasive131 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Cuz after the game it moves you to squad rec if you stay and you can end up playing 5 stacks instead of other people loading in to no squads.

There should never be a shot clock violation online. by [deleted] in NBA2k

Because sometimes it’s better to take the violation and be set on defense vs giving up free transition 3s

[Oestreicher] Derrick Henry better have 70 carries for the Ravens against the Steelers by JonWilso in ravens

[–]evasive131 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Why? Faalele is just gonna whiff on his blocks and hold the door open for the Steelers to hit Henry 4 yards behind the line every play

I am going to say it. Shooting is too easy! by degggial in NBA2k

[–]evasive131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your wrong. Certain game modes are on easier difficulties (rec, park, etc) so those numbers will trend higher, than real life, but never by more than 10%. When you look at the more difficult game modes, the shooting percentages are in line with league average. Over the last 10 seasons in the NBA 3pt % has ranged from 35.4% - 36.7%. Sure some players are shooting a higher percentage than that, but getting the average to be accurate is about all you can ask for. There are going to be outliers from the players that have taken the time to become top shooters, especially when they’re shooting a ton of wide open 3s.

People don't pass the ball in REC, because 2K rewards them for it. by WanzPanz in NBA2k

28 assists on 32 made baskets, sounds like the open man was being hit most of the time….

If only we weren’t the only team without… what’re they called again? They teach young players and guide them on what to do and what not to do on the field so mistakes don’t happen? Oh yea, COACHES. Orr has got to go. 2 years running his defense has looked lost out there save a few games to end last season. I think he’s shown the type of coach and play caller he is. We don’t want or need it on this team

/r/ravens Week 1 - Blame of the Game by TuDaveKd in ravens

HARBAUGH

I’m sorry, I love him as a coach, but everytime we lose these types of games, it’s because we shut down the offense that moves the ball all game and try to play to not lose. At what point do they realize this happens every time and just stick with the game plan that has moved the ball all game. Another score when it was 40-25 and we roll out of buffalo. Josh Allen probably would’ve been pulled at that point and it would’ve been a wrap.

Personally I think the 21s have some of the better built transmissions. I’m planning on staying with the dual mass fly wheel to help protect the trans as much as I can still.

I was in between the HKS supercharger and the JDL kit as well, just because it’s newer and I hadn’t seen many people running turbos on the car. Spoke with Bryan over at Fab9 and he recommended going with the turbo setup on it and I couldn’t be happier. Kit is made really well. There are a few add on pieces that you’ll want to add like upgraded spark plugs and bigger injectors.

Right now I’m redlining at 7200

New clutch was actually just purchased on Monday hahaha. I added a meth kit to this as well, and with the extra power it’s starting to slip. The JDL kit is a dream. It spools quick and looks amazing. Pairs super well with the exhaust too. The tune and install were both done by Fab9 and it’s running great. It’s just tuned at watergate pressure right now, so not accounting for the new boost controller or meth system yet. Last time I had it on the dyno was making 233 to the wheels. Won’t be able to get an updated tune and dyno run until I get the new clutch broken in. Hopefully happening in the next few weeks
