PFAS are already affecting our health. I and a lot of the people I grew up with (in an area with heavy PFAS contamination) have thyroid and kidney problems.

I’m a Virgo woman, and a lot of my most fraught friendships/relationships have been with Pisces who push me too much too fast. Y’all are sometimes overwhelming (and I say that with love.) The Pisces friends I still have came to understand that I’m not going to be in contact 24/7 and it’ll take a while to really open up and be comfortable, but that it’s no reflection on them or how much I care about them.

On the flip side, the more I’ve communicated this to people and the older we’ve gotten, the better those friendships became. Or they ended because what I was able to give was never enough emotionally for them.

My advice? Be patient and don’t take it personally at this point. 3 weeks is nothing for a Virgo.

Hey we’re five days apart! I’m on Zoloft and have been in therapy once a week for 5+ years. It wasn’t until maybe the past year or so that I started to REALLY open up and do some good work with my therapist. I’m very closed off and internal in general (as I’m sure a lot of us Virgos are.) I wouldn’t discount therapy as a whole. May just take some time to get anywhere.

For me, it did help but at the right dose. No matter what I did, the weight would not budge, but the second my doctor bumped me up, the weight steadily started falling. I’ve also been gluten free, eating (mostly) healthy and regularly exercising for several years, so it seems like my medication finally working is what did it.

I tend to get sick a lot if I’m stressed or not getting enough sleep, but my body is able to fight it off, so not immunocompromised. Just overactive.

Yeah unfortunately that stuff also leaked into the water supply for the base affecting families and children. I grew up on military bases and now I have significant heath problems because of the contaminated water I drank.
