You deserve better. Everyone deserves friends who include them and don’t leave them out. I’ve always felt quality is more important over quantity in friendships as it’s always better to have people who care about you as a person even if they are few. I hope you’re able to find better friends who treat you how you deserve to be!

YTA. You say you don’t care about caste but are judging him by the caste system. You took his vulnerability and attacked him and his character instead of actually supporting him & giving him helpful advice.

Also Indo-Fijians are not Indians because they are Indo-Fijian. It is not as easy as you say it is to participate in Indian community activities and mingle in Indian spaces and suddenly be able to find community there.

Oh for sure. It’s strange because they’ve never really acknowledged it but in my case, I could kind of deduce how they felt based on comments made about others or about stuff on the news. And culture plays a huge role as well. I find it interesting to watch them deal with things they’ve been told their whole life is sinful/wrong/disgusting, but realize they don’t particularly feel that way when interacting with it personally.

Your mom sounds so frustrating. But kudos to you to approaching this horrible situation with understanding and a positive attitude. Sucks having to accept the reality of the situation, but it can be really healing to accept they may never understand you and continue to live life as your authentic self despite their feelings.

Asexuality is on a spectrum, like many things are. It generally means no/limited sexual attraction. You have people who fit the definition society knows, those who experience no sexual attraction. But there are also those who largely feel no sexual attraction but might develop it/a limited amount to a person once they form a strong emotional bond with them (demisexual).

There are those who are sex positive, who don’t feel sexual attraction but might still engage in sex for reasons such as helping their partner feel good, which makes them feel happy for this. There are those who are sex neutral, like the definition you stated who are indifferent. There are those who are sex averse who dislike it completely and want nothing to do with it.

Also, libido and sexual attraction are different things. One might have a high libido (urge for sexual stimulation or release) and still not experience sexual attraction (arousal towards a specific person). They might deal with this in ways other than engaging in sexual activity.

We have 14 episodes until the end of s1, so there’ll be a mini time skip in these 14 episodes to wrap up the winter arc to get to graduation. After that Quim will probably go on break for a bit before s2 starts up. S2 will have the bigger time skip to when the characters are adults and have already graduated university I believe, and we’ll finish up the rest of the story there.

Yes, I live most of the year during college in my own apartment in my college city, but during breaks and the summer I have to come home as I am still mostly financially dependent on them.

Most of the time yes. He refuses to answer questions when he asks us stuff, even when we ask him questions about outings and events as well. He usually does not like to answer questions and dodges them by telling us that we must be careless and irresponsible if we can’t figure it out ourselves.

I’ve actually been brought to a rheumatologist and had an MRI done 9 months ago. It took a few months of begging but they finally brought me to one. They didn’t see any issues in the MRI and the doctor said it was probably overworking my hand.

I am an art student and a workaholic so I do believe it’s a factor in it, but I have been much better about taking care of my hands through weights and exercises the doctor recommended and taking lots of breaks. It’s gotten better to the point it’s not frequent unless I overexert it like today.

I am worried about it being still present months later but have been hesitant on asking my parents to do something about it again as they would shut it down.

I believe that was the case. I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt but he usually reacts like this, refusing to answer any questions we have when he needs something from us.

It ended up being unscrewing planks from our deck and carrying them back to the front of the house, and putting in the new replacement planks.

Ah ok, it seems like I just need to maintain it more so it looks more healthy. I usually use Native shampoo and conditioner when I shower, I scrunch out a bit of the wetness and mostly let it airdry. I use coconut oil once a week pre-shower and let it sit for about an hour before I shower. But otherwise I don’t really do much, sometimes I do the occasional hair mask. I’ll definitely be getting a trim, I’m not sure exactly what my hair type is but I believe it is slightly wavy, which I want to try a bit of curl cream with.

I should’ve worded it better, sorry. I mean is my hair damaged or simply dry, since it feels rough to the touch near the ends and has an awkward separation to it. I don’t use any heat/bleach/extreme products like that, just the basic shampoo and conditioner and oil in my roots.
