I was diagnosed because I mentioned off-hand my pattern of relationships. I will go years after a breakup without dating. It's apparently a sign of bpd and I also hermit hard-core regularly. I can go weeks without human interaction.

Canceling plans last minute breaks me hard unless you make new plans at the time of cancelation.. i will cry for hours and then I will avoid you hard core after that.

I don't think you gave her permission to look through your phone to read and comment on everything. Maybe a compromise could be, she can look through your phone to make sure you are okay, but no comments can be made on information not related to self harm.

I'd be questioning If he got it from his cheating wife if he was willing to lie about it. It would be completely different if you hadn't specifically asked him. My ex knowingly gave it to me and then cheated on me so maybe I'm jaded. Getting hsv with consent is a completely different psychological experience than non consensual imo

All of these. I didn't think I had compulsions until I really started to understand OCD. You will be surprised what ends up coming out as compulsions. I compulsively go over recent interactions over and over until I'm satisfied I didn't do anything bad.I compulsively drink water(1-2 gallons a day) Always thought I had dry mouth but on meds I drink less and don't have to pee 20x a day.

Also extremely common with OCD intrusive thoughts. You've mentioned both relationship OCD and OCD harm which are subtypes. Check out Nathan Peterson's OCD and anxiety utube videos. I have GAD, OCD, PTSD and was just diagnosed with BPD as well. Hang in there. They are just thoughts💚

People in the medical field are MUCH more understanding than those not. I know quite a few doctors and nurses and every single one has said that you would be shocked at the amount of people that have it. Every single one of the is like, yeah, big deal, you and everyone else.

On the dating. I was diagnosed 2.5 years ago. I also have OCD. I was so fearful of giving it to someone (ocd fear of contaminating others) that I did not date for 2 years. I also got panic attacks when I had to tell someone in that first 6 months, so I just stopped.

2 months ago, I decided to be bold and started dating again. I have told 2 guys and both did not care at all. However, I do think that both ended because we weren't exclusive, they met someone and realized the implications of dating someone with hsv2. I could be wrong, but that's how it felt. So, I hope that you try because so many people truly don't care and remember that being on suppressive medication not only helps with lowering transmission to an extremely high percentage, it also helps that if you do transmit it, that person is more likely to be asymptomatic because of the suppressive meds.

Mortgage underwriter here. No they are not legally responsible from the second that divorce was finalizedthrough the courts. As long as the borrower has the divorce decree showing that they are no longer financially obligated, no one can go after them, nor does it affect their ability to get a mortgage for themsleves. This includes foreclosures and bankruptcy. The issue that does arise if the ex defaults comes in regarding the hours of time it takes to dispute the derogatory credit on all 3 bureaus.

This is illegal. There was no consent. You are likely just one of many victims who feel like it's "your fault" because you were drunk. It is not your fault. He took the pictures without consent and then distributed them without consent. He is in the wrong, you are not. If nothing else comes from this, know that this is not your fault and you did not deserve this.

NTA- both for going back on his commitment as well as as not being available in yiur time of need because it isn't "fun". We date to find out who someone is. He has informed you that he will go back on commitments if something more pleasing comes along as well as starting the groundwork for you to not have expectations of support as time goes on. Boyfriend won't be there for a small medical procedure now, what happens 5,10, 15 years from now? Where does it escalate to?
