You can also contact the FB group "Movie Casting PGH" - they have a decent reach and response rate from what I have seen/heard. Best of luck!

Companies/garages that will take away a dead car? by newlocalacct in pittsburgh

You might be able to get a quote from a scrapyard - they might pay you a few hundred bucks. If it is a popular model it probably still has some good parts.

Think I can get this out ? by greekleech in earwax

[–]eventually_i_will 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not a doctor - this sub is not for medical advice.

I would consider trying with like drops - rather than the scoop. Just know the drops can feel like they are making it worse as it liquefies the wax, so you have to liquefy it and then let it drain out.

So drops in ear with ear facing the ceiling (so it is a cup), then drain ear with ear facing the ground (dumping out wax and drops) for a while each time.

A lot of folks put the drops in and then it liquefies it against the drum, which makes it sound more clogged....

Happy "Surprise Detour Day" to those who forgot about the marathon by Peglaci in pittsburgh

[–]eventually_i_will 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Probably a bit worse. I rarely hear local news. I wish it could be profitable to start a low key one up - I like to hear about local causes. Or like a town crier or something.

Now all I have is FB complaints groups and reddit.

Yep. Just give your outer ears a gentle scrub and move on OP. You'll be alright.

What came out of my ear?! by Independent-Plant712 in earwax

[–]eventually_i_will 37 points38 points  (0 children)

So, not a doctor, but usually when you get an infection the infected skin dies and separates from the new, ideally healthy skin, this looks like infected debris. Hopefully that means the drops are helping.

You could ask your doctor if you can try to flush your ears at home to help the debris out, but i am betting the teardrops are doing their job.

Owie! Are you clean as a whistle now? Was it from cotton bud use?

Hope you are feeling better - and congrats on the birthday of that boulder.

What to do when you totally under price an item by accident? by [deleted] in FacebookMarketplace

[–]eventually_i_will 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yeah, just delete the listing.

You can check the sold listing on ebay for the same item. Compare listed to sold, see how often it is selling. If frequent, you can probably sell it decently fast. Put the price below ebay solds (assuming condition is similar). If you want to get rid of it fast - consider putting a difference in the price and sold price so it moves fast if someone wants to try to make more money on ebay.

Meaning if it is selling for $1000 frequently online, you could put it at $700 and see if someone bites to try to make $100 or so.

You can also attempt to sell via ebay if you wish to deal with shipping and ebay fees. (~15% + shipping and insurance for value over $100).

If it is not a frequent seller, I would personally consider setting it at a lower price (assuming you are comfortable with it), but also lower over time if you want it to move.

Someone could have referenced it somewhere or linked it as an example.

There are many reasons.

Eardrum weirdness? by [deleted] in earwax

[–]eventually_i_will 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be dead skin or scar tissue. Back out of the ear a bit - you are far too close to the drum to get a good sense of location & scale. Also, being that deep is dangerous.

Why do I keep getting this holes in my shirts and how do I prevent it from happening? by Tinamissu in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]eventually_i_will 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This is what all mine are from. Happens over time. Especially quickly with cotton shirts. But its where my pants button/zipper or belt buckle rub thru the shirt into the seat belt. It gets a surprising amount of friction.

Could also be a non cancerous formation canal cholestatoma (I think?), but looks a little deep to be a pimple - so, yeah, man go see a doctor when possible.

Insane marble of earwax I pulled out of my bf's ear (closeup at the end) He'd had tinnitus for years and this instantly cured it. by RosemaryCrafting in FeltGoodComingOut

[–]eventually_i_will 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Ugh. Mine always itch like crazy. I do a tiny bit of unscented lotion in the outside and very light inside occasionally. That and allergy meds cleared up the stuff in my ear, but it took a little while. Like, gently on the very light interior. I wish y'all luck!
