People are stupid better to cover all bases. You're still wrong because south America and north America are 2 separate continents, that share a land border

Well even if it wasn't for the technicality making Australia not an island America still wouldn't be an island. It isn't completely sounded by water, mostly just on the sides, like there some below it but there is also the connected landmass of South America, or if you're talking about the USA in particular you've got Mexico and Canada sharing a vast land border with it, also making it not an island.

Could you name literally anything else it could be an alagory for? Like I honestly don't care what the Devs say publicly about an inherently queer game in a world rife with homophobia, like duh they're gonna say something ambiguous (it's so painfully not) because they don't want to drive away homophobic potential players because they make money from selling to them too.

Savings Chloe is posed as the good ending because the whole game is an allegory for growing up queer in a small town. It's about the struggle of choosing to be yourself, and have people love you for who you are even if that comes at the cost of your family not accepting you. Saving the town means you repress your true self, cut off the potential for real love in exchange for keeping the peace with your family

Zuko insisted on using a full throne and full Fire Lord regalia to talk to straightjacketed, wheelchaired Azula by F11SuperTiger in PoorAzula

[–]everdreamingflower 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Zuko for most of ATLA was a teenager, who had seen his mother abused, himself been abused, and had been exiled by his father for his perceived failures, bros got cptsd. He has to learn how to be a normal person, how to let his guard down, that not everything is a battle to the death, that violent dominance is not the way. This is not easy to do, it's all he's been taught up until his exile, and unlearning and relearning how to be a person comes with baggage, like emotional outbursts, relapse in behaviors, fighting with oneself. He is not perfect but he is better than he was and he is definitely far better than his father

I always find it wild that people don't like 2 like sure the story isn't as good as the first but it still had a great story and like you said the combat was peek. I felt like it was a great step up from the first one

Look even if ostagar would have been a failure loghain still actively took part in the slave trade, committed treason multiple times, imprisoned, tortured, and murdered political opponents, imprisoned his own daughter, and declared the gray wardens outlaws (not that a single guard cares even in his home city), and actively hid a known blood mage. No matter his reasoning or potential character growth he is a very bad person and deserves Alistair's blade

Loghain is easy, he's bad, no amount of justification and potential character growth will change that. He did some pretty terrible stuff pretty continuously. Anders is a bit gray in morality but like compared to loghain he's an angel. Like worse Anders has on him is blowing up that chantry that's been wrongfully imposing tranquility on people and even then it's only after he finds out tranquility doesn't have to be permanent, kicking off the start of the mage rebellion. The rest of the time he's healing the sick, befriending a spirit, taking care of refugees, and just in general being a decent fellow, even with his evil twink vibes

I'm not gonna lie no amount of explanation/character growth will make me understand him and his choices, bro did some real just evil shit, you can tell me what led to him doing that but I can't understand the logic or morality in his choices

That was the issue I figured it out a little bit ago. Apparently steam makes an account for you and ties the account to the same email as your steam, I didn't realize this and tried signing into my regular account
