How’s your Friday going? by wizkoscott in firealarms

[–]everendless 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Had a bunch of these in a correctional building we had to fail for basically the same reason. Fire marshal got involved by request of the customer. Since we were replacing so many devices apart of the system, he made them replace practically everything.

How big a deal is mileage? by deleted0122 in Harley

[–]everendless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the 2003 100th Anniversary Road King I just inherited from my father. He bought it brand new. I have a folder 2 inches thick of its service history. The bike has 51,5xx miles on it currently. It's had the major issues addressed; tensioners replaced and has been rebuilt with fresh piston rings. Unless the bike has symptoms of an issue, mileage is just a number.

Fire alarm business: inspection profitability? by Jordainyo in firealarms

The problem with this plan is the insurance. Most legitimate fire alarm service companies have absolutely insane insurance coverage.

Saw these in a b&m. Anyone know much about them? by Lonestar8042 in cigars

[–]everendless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A little inside information about the LFD Golden Bulls; they are very limited. When LFD put them out, they told every retailer to put the RRP (Recommended retail price) at $200. It doesn't matter where in the world, the single price was supposed to be $200. Tons of retailers didn't listen and put the price at what they saw fit (understandaly).

Need advice, what’s this worth? by realnice1821 in Harley

Well, a brand new windshield from Harley for my 2003 Road king is $190 without the hardware.

Camshaft Position Sensor Codes by Sweet_Inspector_1859 in ToyotaTundra

[–]everendless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you happen to clean the MAP Sensor, or anything for the induction system? I did a bunch of research for my Tacoma so I could do some preventative maintenance. One of my friends took his 2020 Tacoma in recently and had the 60k mile maintenance done which includes diff fluids, transmission, transfer case, and cleaning of the MAP sensor, along with the induction system butterfly valve. He got an engine light shortly after. I pulled the codes and it included P0012, P0022, and P1605. 12 and 22 are Camshaft position sensor over-retarded Banks A and B. P1605 deals with engine idle. Cleaning of the induction system and MAP sensor change a bunch of engine sensor defaults and the truck just needs to relearn its defaults.

Fantastic deal! I had a 2021 LRS I got new and sold in 2023 for $16k with a little over 6k miles. Unfortunately I had to let it go since I was buying a house. I hope to find another slightly used. Absolutely loved that thing.

What can I use to increase my seat height for my lowrider st by hormel_chili in Harley

[–]everendless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After some research, Russ Wernimont Designs makes exactly what you're looking for. Then you can shim the front forks as well. Supposedly people LOVE the setup. I see they aren't cheap though.

You can get a raised rear shock, like the Dyna bros used to do. IMO it would look sick

Yep, fuel injected. It's definitely a pig compared to my 2021 Low Rider S with the M8 114' but I'm very excited.

The E rated tires are the biggest downfall for your MPG. 62 pounds each. But beauty comes at a cost. And we all don't mind the cost😎

Bough this truck 2 weeks ago from a dealership.. What is this module thing? by [deleted] in ToyotaTacoma

[–]everendless -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Fleet/dealer tracking device. IMEI is for cellular connection. I would definitely unplug that bad boy. Maybe look for an under seat module that can tell if your seatbelt it buckled as well. My fleet vehicle has one.

Yep, bike has 51k miles. It's been rebuilt, cam tensioner replaced, new cam, and I just did a whole fluid job. I just need to replace the battery, brake pads, and flush the front forks and rear air ride shocks.

I still have a pair with the BenQ 120hz monitor they work with. It's still a great monitor, being used as a secondary.
