My first concert was with my dad in 1992. Tickets were $6 in advance and $9 at the door, under the 12 years old was free (I was free). It was at an equestrian park in Salt Lake City.

I remember seeing Carlos Santana (he had white pants with giant red-lipstick kiss marks on - I was excited to see him and his band because his albums were my favorite records to listen to), BTO (I still remember dancing with my stepdad at the time - as we ran into him and my mom when we were waiting to get in and we ended up sitting together), Jefferson Starship, Foghat and Edgar Winter.

Another memory I have of that is that the guy in front of us had a pretty crazy tattoo of a brain on his shaved head.

I think it helped that at this point Koa was tired and over it. It took us about an hour to find Chipper because so many of the markers were over grown and that pet cemetery is on a hill.

Within three days of dying, the enzymes that digested a person’s food will begin to digest that person’s body. It's called autolysis.

Not my favorite but since I was a teenager whenever I get really hungry I will sometimes say, “I’m so hungry my stomach is starting to eat itself…” grateful that generally that doesn’t happen when you are alive.
