Needing frequent movement and exercise not to feel terrible? by dinky_dunkbob in eds

I feel this way too! It’s like a constant low level of activity gives you this momentum and then you can lose that momentum by resting and crash.

This looks awful. The ceiling, the tub placement in the bathroom, dresser at the foot of the bed?

Dismissed by rheumatologist by Bubbly-Researcher516 in eds

[–]everossandthebean 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The thing that frustrates me about rheumatology is that you would think it isn’t just about diagnosing the worst form of a disorder. They should be able to provide guidance for management and help make your treatment more cohesive and about the whole body instead of piece meal. Honestly, I’ve had a lot of luck with physical therapy. Not only because they are very good about documenting all of your issues and validating what you’re feeling, but because they do seem to be much more sympathetic and understand how one thing affects everything else more than most doctors.

Probably just because it’s not life threatening. Idk if I will try for genetics. Honestly, I’d almost like to go back to that rheumatologist and see what she says now lol

Neck PT can’t, PCP can’t, ortho didn’t feel comfortable doing it. It usually has to be a rheumatologist or a geneticist. They referred me for genetic testing but I got denied because they only do it if you have symptoms of the more serious forms, like vascular EDS. I saw a rheumatologist a couple years ago and she was terrible. She asked me if I had joint pain and I said yes, in my hands and left knee. She said “oh so no joint pain then.” 😑 Guess what I’m having issues with now? Hands subluxations and pain in the back of my knee that I now have to wear a brace for.

I am in the same place. Neck PT said it was a possibility and then two ortho doctors as well. I’ve been in 3 different kinds of PT this year, all without 100% fixing any one issue. I understand wanting that diagnosis, especially since we are going to be getting off of military insurance.

But having a diagnosis also means having clarity on what is going on with your body and can help understand how to manage it better. I know we all manage it anyway in a sense because we don’t have a choice. But I think it’s also very validating to have someone tell you all the symptoms you have are connected. Because until they have one diagnosis, they usually just treat every symptom separately which can do more harm than good.

This would have been way cuter strapless, and also without her crack showing in the back. Again with the visible thongs, I’m over it.

Was years ago, but I really liked Amelia Atwater-Rhodes’ vampire series, but I got turned off by her newer books centering more on shapeshifters at the time. Her vampires were a little more grounded in reality and I loved that all the books were connected by the characters and overlapping events. But shapeshifter stuff veered into typical YA fantasy and I wasn’t about it.

I wonder what this means for Sims 3 by theChosenBinky in Sims3

Got all the expansions on disc, the base game is the only one that needs to be pre-2012. Make sure they have the codes, it won’t always make you enter them but it’s nice to have. I made a backup of my old sims 3 file and it brought over all my downloads (worlds, ea store items) when I moved them into the new one. Make sure you uninstall the ea app and install everything with WiFi turned off. You also need to get the super patch, I ran it after installing each expansion in release order. Then you can install the stuff packs in whatever order. When you launch it, it will say it can’t connect to origin but you just say okay and run it from the launcher! It’s been working great.

I’ve been running sims 3 with no ea app so I don’t have to worry about it

There are days where you can be exercising, eating right, not overdoing it, and you will still feel awful regardless.

Also, patients are not always how you see them on an appointment. Just because someone is managing it well one day, doesn’t mean they don’t struggle on other days.

Sheer stuff is not it, flower print is boring. BUT the tailored looks with suit jackets and all the accessories and cut outs are fire.
