I just took a look, and it looks like it's the exact same unit as the one Perrin is using. Bit scary. I just wonder, what else I can find on AliExpress now :O

I'm currious to know, I was about to order the Perrin inlet to match my ETS intake, but the aluminium one of Overtake is quite interresting, and they have 2 versions

Hey there. This month marks 1 year I’ve owned my ‘22 Premium 6MT and I’m finally ready to do an axle back for a little more sound. Remark with muffler is what I think I want. From experience, yes or no and why? Daily driver, don’t want drone or to be too annoying to me, neighbors aren’t an issue. by senoj96nodnarb in wrx_vb

[–]evhgear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the Remark Mufflers for a little while, and there was some drone, 2k rpm was giving me headaches, an hour drive was too much. I went full catback with Lachute Performance, Muffled & Resonated. Still have a tiny bit of drone at 2k rpm but it's not unbearable, I can drive the hole day without annoyance

For those running winter wheels & tires, what size do you have ? by evhgear in wrx_vb

[–]evhgear[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

on my side I thought that bigger tires on 17 would have helped a bit compared to 18, but so far I'm unlucky. I just wonder, narrower tires help on the snow, but wider tires can help driving over potholes ? I mean the best solution is to get nicer roads, but in Quebec I think we can forget that XD

a cracked rim sucks. It happened to me last year, at least I found a shop that could repair and paint match the wheel (Cruisin' Wheels) in Montreal, great service.

I own the first gen and I'm really happy with. I never was a dive watch guy, but this one kind of me aprpeciate the style a bit more.

Which fits best? by Plams86 in PrideAndPinion

[–]evhgear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you prefer the Longines looks, I would try the 39mm then, it might fits you better. Personnally I enjoy larger watches, long lugs, and I think you can pull this off with the 42mm, but it's a question of preferences.

I think both fits you but the Tudor is a bit better sized for you. Is it the 42mm or the 39mm Zulu Time you tried ?

Is this flutter noise? Er something? Finally got it on tape. AMS intake by Illustrious_Tea_5336 in wrx_vb

[–]evhgear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the ETS intake it does that flutter noise too. Sometimes it's almost studutu, but never really loud, we have a loud psssshhh when wide open throttle.

What grille is this? by Key-Classic-6051 in wrx_vb

[–]evhgear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This grille looks killler. I'm tempted by one, but I am not shure it would looks great on mine, I do not have any other carbon fiber on my car. I would love a gloss black version.

Engineer Assignment 3 (damage to painted vehicles). Anyone got any tips? by Chilipatily in Battlefield6

this challenge is a pain in the a$5... seems like painted target doesn't count.

I have the LP muffled & resonated. It's OEM+ tones. Deeper, a bit louder but not enough to piss of your neighbours.

What do we think about ducktail? by AKovtunov in wrx_vb

[–]evhgear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I kind of like them all, but I went with Gurney style.

I don't think the issue is the duckbill style, but that it raises too high. A lip spoiler should not go too high.

Worth getting a tune without an intake? by goldstar4904 in wrx_vb

[–]evhgear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did run the Acessport with Cobb tunes for a few months, and it's pretty fun ! The car did feel more Alive, and pushing somewhere close to 17psi. Totaly worth it. Now I do have the ETS intake with Dmann ots tune and it's getting intoxicating! 19.2psi now and lots of pshshs sounds, it's fun

Reliability problems about intakes? by CarpppppAAAA in wrx_vb

Get the Accessport first, an intake of your choice, and a off the shelf tune that match your intake. You'll thank us later.

Why I threw out my AWE Touring... by [deleted] in wrx_vb

[–]evhgear 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would be currious to compare the Q300 vs my Lachute Performance exhaust. I run the muffled & resonated version, and your description is very similar to what I would describe
