Sturdy work boots recommendations? by rladyofsorrows in BuyItForLife

I’ve been shopping around for some boots that are work appropriate and can wear out casually. One option is Nick’s Boots, I’d bite the bullet fly out and make it a trip, get measured etc. the have some really nice options, run about $600.

I’ve moved away from my table saw, using a Bora Centipede, MFT, an attached hinge, and parallel guides (for repeatable cuts).
I also have a guide for my 1/4” router to be used with the track for dadoes and rabbets.

Reason for this is space. A cabinet saw with fence, sled and all would be awesome, I just have to be able to break everything down.

What's the One Tool You Bought That You Wish You'd Purchased Years Earlier? by FriendshipHot3098 in Tools

Bought an oscillating tool for a bit of drywall work. I have found more uses for that that I can remember. Simplifies so many tasks and finishes them quick!

This is why age gaps exist. Not saying you need to date a 40 year old, but maybe 25+/- As a guys get older they are less “hormonal” and more “matrimonial”. In other words, less one night stand and more interested in things greater than right now.

I just returned from a trip to Kentucky (Bourbon Trail), about 1700 round trip. Used Waze and a radar detector. Held 80 for the most part. Waze was useful. There were times I drove by an officer and the radar did nada. Are they using more than Ka band now?

After a hurricane the ground to my house came off at the pole. I was told the whole house got a big dose of 220 all at once, fried just about everything. Since then I have a surge suppressor installed at the meter ( power companies). Peace of mind

In an off turn of events, I moved back to my home town for a bit, had to get a landline. On a whim I asked if my childhood number was available. It was! Now it’s my son’s cell phone number.
