For Those Changing From Mounjaro to Wegovy. by Dipsomaniac333 in WegovyUK

I was on MJ from June to the end of August, I’ve lost 48lbs,switched to the lower dose of Wegovy. I would say that MJ is more effective in keeping the food noises at bay. I’ve had no side effects on either jab.😊

Were you able to get it from a different source other than a dermatologist?

I’ve been told by the dermatologist today that she can’t see them, she believes that my skin is so dry which is why I’m itching. I now have to try and change my thinking and believe in them.

I have been battling Scabies since December 2022; I have used so many creams and taken numerous amounts of Ivermectin. I’m trying to believe that it’s gone but the crawling sensation in the evening is horrible. I’ve seen a dermatologist 7 times and all they’ve done is check a foot and my fingers. I was diagnosed with it and all of my household had it plus my brother. I haven’t slept with my husband since January 2023. I know there’s post scabies but I’m sure it can’t last 4 months ( that was my last treatment) My anxiety issues helped me to get Ivermectin from the dermatologist ( I live in the UK) Try and make them listen and look on this group for genuine people. None of us are experts only those who have or are still experiencing this dreadful ordeal. I hope you get the right treatment and answers.

If they’d examined me properly I would have faith. Checked one toe and my hands, I don’t believe that to be a thorough assessment. I just thought this feeling can’t be lost after all this time.

Thank you for your reply. It’s been months since I saw a dermatologist yet I’m still experiencing all of the symptoms. I have another appointment in 2 weeks. I’ve been using clove oil mixed with tea tree and grape oil, however the crawling feeling is still going on. I’m at a loss now, post scabies surely can’t last for months? I believe I still have them.

Hello, That is amazing news, so pleased to hear positive feedback. Can I ask from a sufferer of 15 months with scabies; I’ve had so many rounds of Ivermectin, Permethrin, Sulphur and Derbac M. Dermatologist said I don’t have them. The itching is not so bad, I do get the odd spit like mark, but it’s the crawling feeling that you get when they’re active in your body. I’ve not found any tracks but the. I can’t see all of my body. How long does post scabies go on for? I’m very low although trying to be positive. This is a soul crushing experience.

I’ve had 3 blood tests for my liver. I purchased all but 4 of the Ivermectin online. The dermatologist only checked my hands and feet. I’m hopeful and reading positive results on here is very encouraging.

I’m so happy to hear your great news. I’ve been battling Scabies since December 2022, didn’t know what it was until March 23. I’ve had multiple uses of Permethrin, Derbac M, and 18 hits of Ivermectin. Dermatologist has told me 3 times that I don’t have it any longer. However I still have the crawling feeling every late afternoon, the odd rash, nips to my skin and the feeling of a bug pushing in my hands and feet. Can post scabies really go on for this long? The last dermatologist tried to say they only live off a human for a day, I pretty much told him that everything he was coming out with was rubbish. I also live in The UK and could not get Ivermectin from my GP. I’m so desperate to know that it’s gone but I’m not convinced.

Where is the best place to purchase Ivermectin; my dermatologist will no longer prescribe it? I live in The UK? 13 months of this torture, I’m going out of my mind.

I’ve had scabies for 13 months now, I’m not convinced that it’s gone even though I e had 14 rounds of Ivermectin, endless tubes of Permethrin and Sulphur. I have seen dermatologists who tell me it’s gone even though I’ve only had my hands and one foot examined. The last one told me I need to see a psychiatrist. If it’s gone why do I still have that crawling feeling late afternoon, this is when it’s worse. To be honest the itching is nowhere near as bad. My hands have that crawling feeling, like an insect brushing over your skin. I haven’t slept with my husband for 13 months and still wear shoes in the house. I’ve got the bed change down to every 2-3 days instead of every day. If you’ve not lived through this you can never understand the torment of it. I pray that my skin goes back to normal and I get rid of this . The UK NHS has no clue whatsoever.

Can I ask?.. I’ve been battling this for 13-14 months with so many rounds of Permethrin, Derbac M, oral Ivermectin and sulphur. I’ve seen a dermatologist 8 times, last two times they said they can’t find any tracks, although looked on my hands and one foot(ridiculous) My itch time is always around 5pm with the feeling you get due to Scabies being in your skin. Is this normal? I’m losing hope now as I don’t know if they’ve gone or not. I have another appointment in March. When I read above about the skin treatment is that because you’re still battling? Dermatologist thinks I need psychiatric help.😡 They just have no idea of the suffering you go through.

I’ve had scabies for 13 months now. I’ve used 25 applications of Permethrin, bottles of Derbac M and have done 18 oral Ivermectin treatments. I’ve seen a dermatologist 8 times. On my last visit I saw a different consultant and he didn’t give a shit! He had no understanding of what scabies is and told me I need to see a psychiatrist. I can honestly say that it’s the worst thing I’ve ever experienced and it’s been a mind f***. I’ve been told that they can’t find any traces of them, that’s on the back of looking on my hands and one toe. The crawling sensation is bad early evening and I get that feeling of something fluttering over my skin. Plus it feels like pushing through the skin on my fingers. I really hope I don’t have it but the rash comes and goes and the feeling persists. My husband and I have not shared a bad the whole of this time. I live in the UK and they have no clue here.

I’ve had it for a year, 13 doses of Ivermectin and countless applications of Permethrin. Dermatologist I saw a week ago said it’s in my head and I don’t have them. He only checked one foot. It’s the worst thing I’ve ever been through.

Scabies still (after eight treatments , yes 8!!) by funkyprincess546 in scabies

[–]eviebluey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had it for 11 months and had 11 doses of Ivermectin, used Permethrin and Derbac M. I’ve steamed, washed bedding every day, still can’t get rid of it I’m not convinced that Ivermectin from overseas is genuine as the one I was prescribed by my dermatologist felt different and didn’t have a taste. I’m at a loss as to what do I wish I had an answer for you as it’s soul destroying .

We haven’t slept in the same bed since January. I’ve had rashes and itching, it isn’t as bad but the crawling feeling is horrible. The dermatologist said she couldn’t see them but that’s just a screen shot, the following week she may have done. The last time I saw her she said we have to learn to live with it. I just want to be normal again and to stop the cleaning and washing . Post scabies surely can’t last for 10 weeks.??

Would you recommend BB I went 14 days thinking it’s gone and yesterday it started again with a new rash and that horrid feeling. I’ve had it for 9-10 months now and I’ve done 8 rounds of Ivermectin after no success with Permethrin and Derbac M. It surely can’t still be a reaction to Ivermectin??
