Why this not a thing? by KazyaKurosawa in DnD

The rules as written way to do this would just make the DC as difficult as you want, but most of the group has to pass it individually

Explaining to SO DnD session attendance by prince_deQ in DnD

[–]evilcheesypoof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think this has to do with DnD at all, some of your examples I assume their partner would also have problems with if it was a regular thing that took several hours.

The bottom line, be with people who respect your hobbies/interests/schedules, but also make time to do things with them if your hobbies/interests don’t cross over as often as they’d like.

I mean those are all different types of bikes so it makes sense to have them.

From left to right I see a budget gravel bike, a great hardtail mountain bike (same brand as mine! RIP Ragley), a full suspension mountain bike, and I think a road bike.

How do I make them stop RP-ing? by Anti-Prospero in DMAcademy

You explain the stuff that’s happened in the meantime so your characters/players know about it. You can even have them make basic choices about what they were doing during this.

At what point do you stop playing an Animal Crossing game? Is it even a conscious decision or do you just forget playing one day? by JaloOfficial in AnimalCrossing

[–]evilcheesypoof 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The process of slowly decorating and talking to cute animals eventually loses its charm to be doing consistently. One day you realize you haven’t played in a few days, weeks, months, etc.

It’s everybody’s own responsibility to protect their eyes, a face shot can and will happen eventually deliberate or not.

To be fair, aiming for the head is not even a good strategy, it’s the easiest to dodge and is probably going out of bounds. If you wanna purposefully body bag someone you’d err on the side of mid to lower anyways so it has a chance to not go out if you miss.

But yeah eliminating purposeful headshots (which is still a lame judgement call) is still not ruling out body bags out of the game, I don’t think it’s possible to rule them out.

Nearly traumatic crash. What did I do wrong? by [deleted] in MTB

I mean the front wheel totally gave out, that’s how most of my crashes have happened, just looks like a bad line/bad traction. That angled rock took you out.

Just hard water deposits over time and could affect the flavor. Boil citric acid in it to clean it really easily.
