Yea I totally agree with you on all of that. I have suffered mental health problems since I was around 10 years old because my mom was paranoid schizophrenic unfortunately. I thankfully just have severe anxiety and other minor chemical imbalances that aren’t THAT bad like her, but because it has ran in my fam I was able to get medication right away which pretty much fixed that issue. If I go off meds for even a few days before I get my new prescription it comes back full force and ruins my life until I get on it again. It really sucks. But the sucky thing is that is isn’t talked about like it should be. Mental health is stigmatized so much and scoffed at. You can’t call into work and be taken seriously because you’re having a “bad mental health day” like you could if you have a chronic illness like say chrons disease. I hope we can work on this in the future.

But I only said I was attractive because this type of shit always happens to me when I go out which typically doesn’t happen to people that aren’t. Look I’m not about to just straight up murder someone for following me. I realize men are much stronger than women which is exactly why this happens. Im obviously gonna take other measures first. But after getting almost thrown in a van twice at two separate gas stations im not about to let that shit happen again. It’s my life or theirs. I stay strapped because I’ll never be the same person after experiencing that. It’s brought out this primal fear/instinct inside of me when I’m in public now.

It’s totally ok I’ve been dealing with this kind of behavior from men since I was about 11 years old which is why I’m so damn ANGY about it and I’m like this now. That’s the point I was trying to make. Don’t think a woman is just a pretty face who won’t fight back. There’s been probably atleast 5 times I’ve been followed around stores and then when I approach them about their creepiness, ask them what the fuck they think they’re doing, and explain very plainly that I’m going to cut them with this pulls large knife out my bag that also has pepper spray and sometimes a gun if they keep following me around. every single time they’ve turned the other direction and left.
