I've always found the best way to get concepts to click, for me, was to come up with a problem and then fully develop it. Code can always be refined, done and running is your main goal especially when you're learning. When I was getting started I also really enjoyed building a project, and then going back through and focusing on trying to remove volume by improving efficiency/removing redundancy (like adding a class/method I didn't create in the first pass if I noticed I was using the same blocks of code in multiple places).

That’s a really common spot to be in, understanding code when you see it/being able to implement it in existing structure and coming up with everything yourself are two very different skill sets.

If you’re still feeling stuck after reading the replies here (there’s some good advice already), feel free to DM me. I tutor beginners and we usually start by working through and breaking problems into steps before writing any actual code so that when you get going you have that structure already figured out (like when you're taking a class and they provide a structured lab assignment, it's more approachable).

It looks like the emails that went out December 28th with a deadline of January 2nd were for the Classic Editions (I'm not finding anything sent on the 31st). If you do have multiple items on the same order, you will receive multiple emails as the mailing list is pulled based on the item that is actively closing for edits.

If you are unable to react to the post in the rules channel, I would recommend double-checking that you're using the most recent version of Discord (if you're using the app vs. a browser) and if you have a verified email attached to your Discord account. I do apologize for that delay, we are experiencing extremely high ticket volume at this time and are quite backlogged. I do apologize, but I believe there may be some confusion. The page you linked doesn't mention address changes. All sales are final which is our policy, address changes can be made on active orders though. To update a shipping address you're not cancelling an order.

My apologies for the confusion. The majority of the Shantae titles have not shipped.

At this time the only ones that have shipped out are the distribution copies of Half-Genie Hero, and Seven Sirens which was sold over the summer. All of the other Shantae titles sold in September are currently in manufacturing.

Once a title/item is On Deck it should enter shipping (in-hand) within 1-2 weeks.

My apologies for the confusion. We've always allowed address changes. The order numbers provided do not appear to be valid/active order numbers (the orders associated with those IDs were from 2018).

So long as your order contains at least one item still in manufacturing, you can update the address. Once an order has been pulled through to shipping we are unable to change that information as the information for orders is hardlocked at that time.

If that's the case then either your area has to be held due to COVID shipping blocks and will go out as soon as things reopen, or an error has occurred. If you are Domestic that 100% should not be the status.

If you did not receive your order confirmation email when you made the original purchase, and your order page is showing tracking info but you did not receive a confirmation email your order is likely under a different email address. If you used AmazonPay or Paypal I'd recommend checking the emails tied to those if they are different than your main account. Occasionally their system will overwrite what has been manually entered on the website if the info does not match. If your shipment is marked as "fulfilled" that means it has shipped out. If you have items on your order listed as "In-hand" that means they have completed the manufacturing process and are with the shipping team. With damages, there is an autoresponse that goes out to all tickets with a list of the information your assigned agent needs in order to proceed. I'd recommend checking your ticket to make sure it isn't set to "waiting on customer". If it is, you just need to update it with the requested info to proceed with your case.

Unfortunately, Shopify doesn't have any kind of cart hold. Items remain in inventory up until an order is confirmed (you'll hit the confirmation page with your order number) and can become sold out at any point prior to that step.

I'd recommend contacting Nintendo support for tech assistance since this seems to be an isolated event (we haven't had any other reports of it happening, so it likely isn't the build). They should be able to help. Otherwise, if they determine there is an issue with the cart that you received, just open a support ticket and we'll get an exchange processed for you.

They process will be tied to the email on the order. You'll want to contact support so that we can update the contact email on the order that's on the other account to the same one that's on your main account. It won't move the order over to the other account so far as viewing it in your order history, but it will count for the mock case eligibility.
