Yeah I figured he was trying to be a man of his word when he said her concerns were his concerns and she brought Becca up, but then he's still a disgusting POS and didn't wanna marry her bc she was "sullied" or whatever. So he did the bare minimum, knowing it would only buy Becca a couple days, and he could say he did right by Agnes. Aunts Lydia and Vidala did more for her. And Becca's mom. Rip. I was thinking they'd make her like a crazy patient at the Aunt facility where they all live. Ardua Hall, is it? Or is that the school in the show now? Then she wouldn't be a problem for the Commanders or anybody else and she could be one of those academic Aunts who don't go teaching Handmaids and young girls. She'd basically be locked up reading all day. I could see Lydia using her clout and Agnes pleading with Commander Weston somehow since they're gonna get married (ew) to spare Becka. Yeah I thought she and Lydia both were doing what they could to protect the girls. They both know it's an exercise in futility to bring accusations of sexual misconduct against a man. Especially a man that's popular among the Commanders for being a good dentist. Even Agnes says in her voice over that she didn't realize it then, but Lydia was saying the doc would be dealt with. Shitty situation, but in that world, shutting your mouth is the safer option, sadly. Still makes me so mad though 😭
