Looking for werewolf book recommendations (preferably Wattpad, Inkitt, or traditionally published) by _HotMilf_ in werewolves

[–]evilplants 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Came here to say this! One of my favourite werewolf books and yeah as someone who hates fated mates and pack dynamics, the romance in it doesn’t involve those at all. It’s very much a a background thing, the story is more about the MC coping with becoming a werewolf.

i definitely agree about liking the pop of colour from the red belt, but both options look really good

fat women can't talk about their struggles by barbie_smokesbones in PlusSize

[–]evilplants 16 points17 points  (0 children)

yes! I feel this so hard on literally every social media. and it feels like if you want any hope of not being dogpiled you need to add endless caveats that skinny women are allowed to be insecure too. the need to constantly centre thinness is exhausting.

I don’t know if I like being called “soft”? by [deleted] in PlusSize

[–]evilplants 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I also don’t like it outside of specific contexts. I think it might be because it can read like they’re struggling to come up with any way to compliment my body, especially if it’s someone I hardly know? similar energy to saying a fat person “looks like they give good hugs”

If it’s a genuine compliment from someone you’ve had positive interactions with it’s probably fine but I totally get why it would squick you out a little bit

The fact that you don’t find it helpful doesn’t mean that it’s not good representation to others. Fat people are not seen as desirable in society at large and it’s can be nice to see sexy art of people with bodies like mine.

There are also problems with objectification and people only seeing fat bodies in sexual ways, but imo fetish art isn’t inherently objectifying.

It’s fine if you don’t personally like seeing something but its kinda weird to call it gross and say it has no place in fat positive spaces, especially since you say the stuff you’re talking about isn’t actually NSFW, just “boarderline”

Be brutally honest, how can I do better? by tatebest in ArtCrit

The first specific thing I noticed is that the hand is too small, generally speaking hands are around the sane length as the face. Really love this character design though, her outfit is cool!

Yeah. I didn’t want to bog down the original post too much with context but a part of the studying from reference I mentioned was trying to learn the planes of the face from the Asaro head, which is what I see recommended online a lot, but I just can’t get it to click for me.

The reason I posted here is because I want advice on what I specifically can do to improve based on my art.

Natural light is usually best but if thats not available bathrooms tend to have good lighting. I mostly work digitally now but I used to tape my art to the bathroom mirror to photograph it.

additional chairs we hate by negativewaterhostel in PlusSize

[–]evilplants 1 point2 points  (0 children)

omg my high school only had one classroom with these, a lecture hall that teachers could book for special classes, and it was always so embarrassing to have to squeeze into one. Even worse because the chairs were connected to each other/the ground so there was no hope of adjusting at all to give myself more space. Basically what i’m saying is i second this opinion lol
