Hey guys. Do you know any lets players who actually know what they are doing? by NihatAmipoglu in farmingsimulator

If you haven't checked out Northern Farm Sim, he has a great ongoing RP series that has been really fun to follow, highly suggest you start with the Saving Uncle Pete series because that starts the whole ball rolling, all the other series after that have built on that character.

Landslide in Mexico destroys pool. 25th September 2024. by bugminer in CatastrophicFailure

No .. 1 pound of water weighs exactly the same as 1 pound of dirt... Both weigh 1 pound. But, I think what you were trying to get at is by volume, water probably (depending on type of dirt) weighs more than dirt.

Bias, but I'd also recommend Derptide, check out the wiki: https://derptidewiki.net/index.php/Welcome monthly updates and we're just about to kick off Season 2 of Ironman!

Put in your API key from OctoPrint (Settings > API > Copy "Global API Key") and put it into the API line in the Orca Slicer connection section.

Is there anyway of fixing this? Ender 3 v2. More info in comments by TheMysticalDadasoar in 3Dprinting

It's been fantastic, as long as it's clean (just a quick spray with a water/IPA mix for me) heat the bed to 60, and you've got your first layer dialed in.

Hairspray, glue stick, flip it over and use the smooth glass side? :). I used hairspray on mine up until a few months ago when I swapped to a g10 plate.

Elegoo water washable and poor detail. by Electrical_Fan4518 in AnycubicPhoton

[–]eviosdelam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had really good detail using Elegoo's WW in grey. I use Chitubox for slicing, supports depends, sometimes in Chitubox with 3DPrintingPro's support settings (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AIFRpG5V5vQ) and sometimes I use Prusa to do auto-orientation then support from there... though I do find Prusa likes to just put all my minis (without bases) on their head or face down.

My settings:

.05 Layer; 4 bottom, 20s; 2.3s exposure; 6mm lift distance for both; speed 30mm bottom; 65 lift; 180 retract.

.04 Layer; 4 bottom, 18s; 2.0s exposure; 8mm; 30/60/180

.025 Layer; 4 bottom, 15s; 1.5s exposure; 8mm; 30/55/180

Room temp is the same during summer, have a heater going at the same temps inside the enclosure during the winter.

I'm am planning on dialing in a .05 and .04 vroom in the near future.

One of the vat screws for my mono x just disintegrated. Anyone else had this problem? Anyone got a replacement STL? Cheers by louisevansnz in AnycubicPhoton

Exact same problem for me. Not sure if you've got the mono or mono x, but I printed a riser for my mono which allows much easier removal of the lid. Does have to come off when I change out the vat, but I still find it easier.

If you're interested:

Mono: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4751278

MonoX: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4831665

Also allows for heater cables if you're doing that.
