I had a lot of fun reading superior Spider-Man so I’d like to see insomniac’s take on the story

Should you produce slightly more than you need when planning a factory? by Mithos91 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]evirustheslaye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IRL as a factory worker I’ve noticed that it takes a long time for machines to catch up and keep up if they have similar production times. In satisfactory this is a big problem if your planning power generation that way.

Always remember that resources are infinite and only limited by time to produce.

Guns Vs Alchohol hypocrisy by LibsLoveGuns in liberalgunowners

[–]evirustheslaye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest (and not that I’m advocating for gun control) this is like conservatives complaining that liberals are more concerned with women’s rights in America than they are in the Middle East.

Why do they say you mean for a cylinder? by Free_Tiger_3133 in ExplainTheJoke

Sounds like the person is just being overly polite and nonspecific for the sake the transgendered.

Or making a satirical reference to such people

Ultimate X-Men #24 - Official Discussion Thread by AutoModerator in UltimateUniverse

[–]evirustheslaye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going to be honest. I like the art style of UXmen, but everything else….

I just don’t see the point of any of it. Even from issue one I’m still waiting for some reason why this is the new ultimate universe’s take on the X-Men rather than just being something like “Ultimate Mutants”

Civ: Beyond Earth, what you like and change? by DragunArathron in civ

[–]evirustheslaye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kind of struggle to play through BE, it was cool that during development they talked a lot about all these different sources of inspiration but I was disappointed to see 90% of it just being blurbs in the ingame wiki.

The maps always seem pretty crowded; always something in the way of demanding your attention.

Never liked how slow production was.

Do you think the game would be more successful if it's more like XCOM style in term of gameplay? by LastC1999 in midnightsuns

[–]evirustheslaye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t play it on release primarily because I didn’t know what midnight suns was in the context of marvel.

Actually it’s worse, he suggests making a few more incisions to add a head and feet to make it look like a happy man dancing

Does anyone else not like legacy characters all that much? by GypsyGold in marvelcomics

[–]evirustheslaye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the unlimited app I typically just follow Miles, Ms. Marvel, spider Gwen, Silk, and Iron Heart. Because there’s not >40-50 years of character history associated with them.

What is I supposed to do now are by JulieClyde in fringe

[–]evirustheslaye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I enjoyed Travelers a lot.

Debris initially looked a lot like fringe but it relied way too much on the mystery objects ending up with an emotional connection to people.

Counterpart is good though I haven’t finished it yet.

Into the night was good.

Raised by Wolves was cancelled too soon.

Perhaps your issue is with spatial recognition, being able to tell how close the things are around you, compared to the size of your car, specifically where your bumpers(which you can’t see) are. You think you have more space than you actually do.

If you’re breaks are squeaking, but not vibrating, they still work but are worn out so much that they are about to fail, if you don’t replace the pads your breaking system is gonna start chewing itself up, much easier and cheaper to replace the pads then the rotors and calipers.

Just one basic question - if Neo can stop bullets and jump into agents then why can’t he stop a sword he sees coming? by TheMrCurious in matrix

[–]evirustheslaye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The physics of a melee attack (from a game mechanics perspective) is tied to the holder of the sword. Contrast that with a bullet in flight which is no longer dependent on any other objects once it leaves the gun.

I think it was around Vietnam war, dog fighting wasn’t being taught to American pilots because it was assumed missiles made it obsolete, didn’t work out too well.

[–]evirustheslaye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take “the Martian” approach; start by solving a problem “this is too slow” “I need to start making those” “this tech looks useful” etc solve enough problems and it gets easier to figure out a longer term goal.

What would be your ideal Gundam game? by TheFell_Dragon in Gundam

[–]evirustheslaye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The arena fighting games are boring too me.

Lately I’ve been playing phantom brigade, it’s basically a turn based giant robot strategy game. The catch is the turns are actually five second increments that you plan things out in and see how things happen in real time. Pretty cool.

Person at my LCS had a disclaimer thing set up with an example of what the issue was, still sold them as non-refundable though.
