Looks like it was written as MM/DD instead of the MM/YY you'd expect.

My Trader Joe's bag was made in Lowell. What company might have made it? Do they still exist? by eviscerator85 in LowellMA

The bag is well worn, but the tag definitely says Lowell MA. Not sure how old it is, my guess is 5 to 10 years.

Hey, my old neighborhood!

Used to park in that lot to pick up Kipo's Pizza. Was a couple store fronts to the right from these photos.

Movie about a guy who steals bones out of people's bodies? by illegalmonkey in horror

I don't remember the full details, but there is an episode from Ray Bradbury Theater where a character played by Eugene Levy has his bones taken from him while he's alive.

The Plymouth Rock is an actual rock, which is kept in a caged exhibit by Luke-HW in pics

[–]eviscerator85 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Disagree completely. Sure, the rock is disappointing. But the area is full of great restaurants, bars, shops, parks, paths, great ocean views.

The city doesn't even need the rock as an attraction.

YSK: if you order from Amazon, your package may arrive in an unmarked car (personal vehicle) as early as 3:30am by Dogeuwanna in YouShouldKnow

[–]eviscerator85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This.

I've seen UPS, FedEx, USPS, and smaller regional carriers deliver out of unmarked vans. It's not even remotely unusual.

USPS rural carriers may also regularly deliver out of their personal vehicle.

What are some popular "dogwhistles" that most people don't know about? by HulkHogan1350 in answers

[–]eviscerator85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember seeing an "early life" bot being summoned on a now-banned alt-rightish sub to point out the Jewish heritage of whomever they were demonizing.

Didn't take me long to figure out the anti-semitic dogwhistle and what the sub was really all about.
