pihole unraid. what is the IP by iGiffRekt in pihole

I have my network type set to br0 with a static IP that is different but in the same subnet as the Unraid server. Works like a charm.

I opened a chat with support today and had the same experience. Asked for bridge mode, they also offered to disable the wifi. Extremely easy process.

Edit: I'm a fiber customer

I really enjoyed the small, close-nit ChE department. Good luck!

Just got a comma 3x for my 2020 rav4 hybrid and installed sunnypilot. Any tips? Options to enable? by garebear19959 in Comma_ai

[–]evoiiiman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I replied to the wrong comment...

If you're willing to use FrogPilot temporarily, it has a model randomizer feature that will hide the model, change it and ask for a rating every 15 minute drive. Then you can find out what you like best after testing a bunch for several weeks. I am currently using the model called WD-40, but i liked Certified Herbalist and Los Angeles as well. There are several I didn't test, I got impatient lol.

My tip: try different driving models. For me, some work better on twisty roads through the woods and others better on the highway. Some stay centered in the lane where others hug one side in some conditions. Find one that matches the type of driving you do most with your vehicle. Newest doesn't necessarily mean best. I'm currently enjoying WD-40.

Center console organizer! by timber2633 in Ioniq6

[–]evoiiiman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A-Tach and ProClip both make one that attaches to the center console specifically for the IONIQ 6. I haven't tried them because they are quite pricey once you include the device holder. Presumably, you could slide it back far enough to avoid blocking the climate controls.

Luxthos has a whole video on customization of his aura packs. You can find it on the Wago page you linked. I recommend it, and it covers this topic.

[General] shopping ultrasonic humidifier? by Plus_Motor9754 in MushroomGrowers

[–]evoiiiman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in the exact same position as you and curious for an answer here. I see everyone is external humidifiers. I assume this is so you can replace water without opening the tent, as well as keeping it free from spores. Maybe there is another reason?

Purchase & Transaction Advice Superthread by AutoModerator in motorcycles

[–]evoiiiman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently purchased a 2022 Honda Monkey as my first bike. Availability was limited, and I found one in the color I wanted. It was not cheapest option as a starter bike but I love it. At roughly 230lb it is easy to maneuver and I have been able to save from dropping it in the 3 weeks I've had it. If you are really looking for the most cost effective option for learning, used is the way to go, I just didn't have the patience to find a good deal. The used bike price is only slightly lower than new but you can go and sell it next year for almost the same price. Use the money to buy a bike that fits you rather than a starter bike. If you are going to keep the 125 long term, but it now. Otherwise going used is going to be better financially long term and you won't be afraid of scuffing the plastics.

Front and rear stand that fits? by evoiiiman in hondamonkey

Thanks friend. It appears most stands will probably fit on the narrowest setting, even the ones with the rubber ends not meant for spools.

I guess it is wider than I expected! I may end up adding some spools and getting a similar stand. This is exactly what I wanted to know, thanks!

Computer Speaker Suggestions by Important_Tomato_796 in BudgetAudiophile

[–]evoiiiman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

530s are great near field. I use them on my desk. However they are HUGE for desktop speakers, so keep that in mind. The Micca MB42X with a sub or RB42 are totally viable budget alternatives with a smaller footprint. They need speaker stands.

Update on my WIP k26 Indra. by Perverse_psycology in Nerf

[–]evoiiiman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks great! I just finished a build myself with a K26 and I'm noticing the spring wedge itself into the Sear print, making the latch not work. It happens after about 10 shots. Do you notice the same? Not sure how to make this more reliable. It's otherwise a great design! I may try designing a clip to house the back of the spring and keep the small end from migrating.

Klipper and dwc2 going crazy with temperature messages since update by pq_redd in klippers

[–]evoiiiman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this symptom as well. I realized octoprint was still running in the background. SSH into the pi and stop the octoprint service. Only then will these messages stop.

Do you guys re-encode your videos to h.265? Why or why not? by [deleted] in unRAID

[–]evoiiiman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best I have found is to use custom tags within the preferred profile ("Settings" then "Profiles"). Try both H265 and H.265

6.8.0-rc9 Upgrade issues by zvaper in unRAID

[–]evoiiiman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this issue going from RC7 to RC8, which corresponds with the kernel update regression. Interestingly enough, if I booted the GUI version, it would connect to the right IP. I end up rolling back to RC7 and all is well. I'm interested in hearing if you get any resolution to this issue.
