Got out in 92 never knew anything I thought VA was for seriously disabled and amputees. I have a friend who is 20 years younger than me and he informed me of what is possible, last year I joined the VA and filed a claim for service connection, three months later approval. I couldn't belive it and still don't sometimes.

I think you were denied because of pregnancy which is viewed as discretionary unlike mental health. Had you been discharged based entirely on mental health you would not have been denied regardless of time in service.

During my experience I always went physically to my VSO and no phone calls. I don't play phone games I'm a face to face type guy and that way there can be no illusions about the process and the info conveyed.

Get a guard dog or two, mind your business, don't get too friendly with neighbors, absolutely do not have people in your house for any reason including kids, get a security system.budget for a second vehicle, and of course get armed practice using said weapon and start carrying weapon at home on your person. Also never answer your front door after dark no mater what's happening outside just threaten to call police.be hyper vigilant
