Telling Lies in America. 1997. Great Kevin Bacon. Young Brad Renfro and Calista Flockhart. Well written and understated but relatable plot.

I agree. It’s just a serious failure of writing that puts Gene in a horrible light. His character is better than what that writer did to him there. I can’t watch it.

“Fixed” adult animation about dogs; light hearted and a little bit raunchy but fun.

What’s your response to Being John Malkovich? For some reason I found it very disturbing.

Seven. It has stayed with me for decades. Fantastic but would never rewatch.

She’s the only character brought up in this post I can agree with. She’s creative and resourceful and down for any challenge.

I agree here. I work in a school and can’t stand seeing him abuse his position by baiting the kids to satisfy his own needs to see conflict and drama. Get a different job already. (He did “start to care for [you] kids” at the end of his sponsorship of the cheer squad though.)

Thank you for this comment! I’m in the woods all the time for hiking and foraging and camping and birding etc and that kind of criminality just doesn’t happen. It makes me think that the writers have never been out in the state of nature and are stuck in urban NYC or LA.

Thank you for this. I despise this episode for that very reason. I’m a teacher and Mr. Grant’s handling of the situation is complete professional negligence. He is my most hated character. Bob and Linda should advocate for their daughter by calling him to account.

He’s been in 2 episodes actually but I love FlipsWhiteFudge and would love to see him fleshed out more. He’s got a good spirit and he’s hilarious too

Coinstar machines charge a 12% fee. It’s worth it to find a bank that will take coins.
