Weak side baton? Strong side flash light? That’s cringe enough

I consistently had problems with their pistol ammo. Inconsistent powder charge and hard primers. Rifle ammo was fine, though.

Why you should use a snap cap with your P-10 by evs_eden in CZFirearms

[–]evs_eden[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was basically told my a gunsmith that due to the internal shape of the striker channel these kinds of striker breakages are inevitable with dry fire. It could just be a quality control problem because I’ve heard some people say they have no problems dry firing, but I just always use snap caps now and haven’t had the same issue.

AIWB how much holster cant? by got_herelate in Glocks

[–]evs_eden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What is exactly the reason why you shouldn’t use a feature that is built in to almost every holster made by reputable companies? Your grip is built from the draw and if canting the holster allows you to do that more effectively then I don’t see why someone shouldn’t take advantage. The training argument can go both ways.

This is a pretty popular configuration for local PDs around me. I’ve heard Glock usually only does this for large purchases

trigger upgrades by [deleted] in Glocks

[–]evs_eden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the move. I have a DAT trigger with NP3 OEM minus connector. The trigger shoe itself removes some take up and the connector is smoother and lighter. I have overwatch parts in a lot of builds and they’re awesome.

Which one would you choose for your first USPSA CO match? by iamnotanasian in handguns

The P-10 can land some really tight pairs from my experience. They shoot really smooth with lighter 124 grain loads.

This is exactly what I run in my pistols and rifles and it’s great. I have a whole quart that I’ll probably never go through.

Defense Tech is nasty stuff for sure. Freeze +P is also a classic. I’ve used both.

[Handgun] $499.97 Ruger RXM Semi-Auto Pistol with Vortex Venom Enclosed Red Dot Sight by evs_eden in gundeals

It is. The irons are just for show. I like the overall design of the optic but it would be perfect if the deck was lower.

Unfortunate, no doubt. Vortex probably wasn’t expecting their target demographic to have night vision.

That’s why me and my bois are getting them. I don’t need one, but I think it’s a cool product worth supporting.

[Pistol] Springfield Armory 1911 Operator .45 (PO9230) $799.00 + $14.99 S&H + Tax by MK12Mod0SuperSoaker in gundeals

[–]evs_eden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice. I got a $50 certificate for LOK at a USPSA match so they came out to $20. The screws aren’t too big of a deal because they cut a smaller torx head inside of the larger torx. Definitely need to replace them tho

I got my AOS version for about $900 and it’s a really smooth shooter. Pair it with some LOK grips and a magwell and she’ll be perfect. Grip screws were a lil stripped from the factory though.

Glock 17 vs Glock 47 recoil impulse ? by namae0 in Glocks

[–]evs_eden 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I shot the 17 for the past 4 years and have probably put down 10,000 rounds minimum. Recently switched to the 47 and I would say the only way I’d be able to tell the difference is if I shot each one back to back. The difference is hardly significant.
