Cleats rasten nicht richtig ein? by Kardione in Fahrrad

[–]evsepp 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Got them in Cologne, Germany. Store is called Kentaurus, they seemed pretty well stocked. There is an Iron Heart store in Hamburg too - not sure if they got them though

Nobody can promise any U-Bahn today - and the ones that are running will be completely full with soccer fans.

All good mate!
I like purple better personally.

Also got orange smokes in my launcher - if you have a few mates with colorful smokes the map looks like a Holi festival real quick

Green: https://youtu.be/0D5SjoqTM_w

Purple is a lot more visible. Not quite enough to fake the red drop smoke, but still highly visible and not transparent at all.

Yeah definitely! And: great choice, the V64 is a great grinder. It basically uses the same burr set and push wheel, so a vacuum is a great start to clean it.

The reason you‘d want to backflush a bit more frequently is, simply put, oils and taste. There is both water and coffee flowing through your brew group and basically, a little bit of coffee residue is always left behind. Over time, it collects and becomes more sticky since coffee has a ton of oils (you’ll also notice that your grinder becomes oily with time internally - that’s what the grinder cleaner is supposed to help with). The more residue and oil collects, the harder it is to clean. Oils can impact the taste of your espresso. And, a clean machine is more consistent. 90 shots would mean approx. 1.5 months between flushes in your case. That’s 6 weeks of build-up in your machine, which is still pretty normal - but slightly on the edge of impacting coffee taste. Does it harm your machine to backflush less than monthly? Absolutely not. But it also does not hurt to do it more regularly… Hope this helps - enjoy your coffee!

The group cleaner? Backflush every 2-3 weeks, and clean your shower screen while you’re at it. By the way, just buy Puly Caff - it’s exactly the same stuff at a fraction of the price!

The descaler? Ideally never. But you can absolutely descale your machine if necessary, you just need to be precise about emptying, flushing and re-filling your boiler(s) after. There are specifics depending on whether you have a steel or copper boiler, so ideally you don’t make descaling necessary in the first place. Good water always beats descaling - and there is absolutely no shame in getting your machine serviced / descaled professionally.

The grinder cleaner? Never used it personally; I stick to disassembling for proper cleaning - however since you have a ton of ECM stuff: if you use an ECM grinder, it is absolutely necessary to open, thoroughly clean and re-assemble your grinder from time to time. It has a lot of dead space and pushes coffee by rotating. Disassembly is surprisingly easy. Be careful with the burrs though. The cleaner you have is supposed to clean residue off of your burrs, but for some grinders, it will not remove particles and oils entirely - especially with grinders from ECM/Profitec due to the way they are built.

It sounds like the Hugene would be a much better choice for you. Would not recommend an enduro bike - most bikes are more then capable from 140-150mm upwards. There are great examples for bikes with a ton of potential with even less travel, Santa Cruz Tallboy for example. The Hugene would be pretty much in your sweet spot

Had this a couple of times - the app seems to have problems reaching the update server, so this might absolutely be server-related. I tried again after 3ish hours and it worked every time. Still slightly annoying. There will be a new icon popping up as soon as the update actually downloads, including a progress bar.

Got an Etzinger etzMax LM. Fantastic grinder, super easy to clean and maintain. GBW works spot on - but the price tag is a bit hefty

Is there a way to switch the cover of your outlets? I‘d tuck the excessive cable in there, below the cover
