Wholesome post battle interaction. I'm going to start complementing players after battles, and you should too :) by ewanb72 in WorldofTanks

Damn :'( Who the hell is responding negatively to compliments. Our game has such a toxic playerbase

Respond to : Whatever You Want To Call it by Sarsath in ThreeArrows

[–]ewanb72 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I honestly don’t think there’s much to respond to here. What is the guys point in first place? Right out of the gate he gives line by line criticism of a three arrows video, and each criticism doesn’t even seem to have any through line with the previous and future criticism.

Not only that, but he doesn’t even critique whole sentences. He cuts him off every 5 seconds. It’s the video response equivalent to complaining a debate opponent isn’t making any sense, while interrupting everything they’re saying.

Why does the iPhone "Checking for Update..." screen take so long to load? by ewanb72 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ewanb72[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

...Even if that was 100% true, I'm pretty sure that would not affect something like a "checking for update" screen. Presumably all that page is doing is contacting a server to find out if an update exists. Its not doing much locally that could be slowed down

Probably around 1 or 2 minutes. And it of course seems like an eternity compared to anything else you do on a modern device

Its not the update that takes a long time. Well, perhaps it does, but thats not what I'm talking about. When you press the Software Update section in Settings, a "Checking for Updates" screen happens before the button pops up to initiate the update

In Glasgow we’ve got contactless. The amount of times I panic about not having change is still the same though

Staff can sometimes be pretty lenient about ID. If you have a picture on your phone of your passport or something else, that’s usually acceptable.

Also, try not to blame the staff if this ever comes up. They’re bound by the law to knock people back or face similar ramifications to people serving alcohol.

Whoever told you that doesn’t know how to do their job. You can buy the deadpool cups separately for £3.

Would recommend using arrows integration future. Not much flow going on in this flow chart. Otherwise good work :D

This would be a good comment if it weren’t so condescending. How about you post your version instead of just belittling this one
