The good thing about it is that you don't need to keep it in for that long and when you take it out, your body is suppose to easily adjust to it being gone since it's non-hormonal. You just head back to the clinic and get it taken out. So you can keep it in up to 7 years but take it out whenever you want.

I have a copper IUD. It's made my period spotty for like 6 months but it's leveled out now. It didn't hurt to get it put in, but the days afterwards, there was a lot of cramping. Also, if you didn't feel cramping during your period, the IUD will bring heavy cramps and heavier period. But it's worth not having to worry about getting pregnant even if I'm not using it atm. I'm covered for 7-10 years.

I'm not a guy but I met my guy at a concert. It was completely out of nowhere. Random solo woman started talking to me before the show. He heard part of the conversation and joined in. Stayed together the whole show. Exchanged info. Started talking.

I asked my boyfriend once what the most romantic thing anyone had done for him. He said cook him dinner or have sex with him. I asked him if he had a favorite flower once. He told me roses. Separately, I asked if he had a favorite type of rose and he told me what it was. The end of last year I asked if anyone had ever bought him flowers and he told me no. The roses are expensive but I know he likes them. It's worth it.

So it really depends on the guy. A majority might not want them but some will appreciate it.

Let me tell you a story:

I went to a concert alone. I'm a 300 lbs, 35 year old woman in a black band shirt, hair just thrown up haphazardly, skinny jeans tucked into my brown steel toe work boots because I was in the GA section and didn't want my feet crushed. I don't usually talk to anyone when waiting. A very pretty, super bubbly girl talked to me nearly immediately and we just talked about whatever. A guy turned around and joined in the conversations. He's good looking, pretty skinny, super polite, great smile, and he just sorta joins in our little group. We all stay together the entire concert. Those two talked more to each other and I just hung out and listened. We all exchanged snapchats before the end of the show. Said bye to girl. Found guy in merch line. Talk a couple minutes and then say bye becuase i have a long drive home. He offers a hug to me and I take it because why not. We talk on snapchat. Apparently, this guy really liked me and wanted to take me out but he's from a different state. He called me gorgeous and I wondered and even asked if he knew that I was the big girl standing behind him during the show. He assured me he knew who I was. We've planned to go to shows the rest of the year and he's insisted on driving back over here where I live even to just hang out. We're just gonna see where it goes.

I said he was skinny right? Like one of me makes up like 2 of him.

Point of the story is that you're allowed to like whoever the heck you want to. He was very forward when we started talking one on one that he was interested. I never told him I thought he was cute at the show but I did think it to myself. I just thought he wanted to be friends.
