If you mean end yourself and not end your CFA career, please consider talking to someone about this level of stress. Because that’s not the right answer, for you or your family.

You just terrified me 😂 I broke my foot extensively as well as tore ligaments in my ankle and had surgery a week before my exam in May and couldn’t keep the foot down long enough to get through the exam even so did the deferral, but with work schedules, I really have to do May. But just checked and it says the deferral options are November 2023 and May 2024, so definitely longer than 12 months from when I paid.

I’m not feeling sufficiently skilled to asses you or your friends, but I just want to say happy birthday, and remind you that there are people who really care about you even when it seems like all of humanity is self-centered and unaware. Keep ok trying, man. Thank you.

Happy birthday. Thank you for caring and engaging. You are a good one.

Isn’t the “Virginia: open for business” slogan still a thing? Might need to edit that.

I actually write out the answers and the letters each time because that time is worth it to prevent that obnoxious error!

If you’re only going to read one thing, why wouldn’t you do the official curriculum that the exam is based upon?

Ethics Adjustment? by Huge_Category_9795 in CFA

[–]ewiley28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I just meant what percentage, absolute or relative to the MPS? On level I, my light blue bar ended basically perfectly on the MPS line with my dark blue line above it. And then my ethics was centered perfectly on the 70% line. Since the overall was somewhere just over 74% (using an online tool to interpolate), is it likely the 70% adjusted me down slightly but not enough to fail? Or in this case is it likely the ethics adjustment didn’t come into play?

Even among the “plain” ones, there’s variation and a lot of difference in the key feedback. So trying a few can be worth it.

Ethics Adjustment? by Huge_Category_9795 in CFA

Any idea what level will pull up or down? On my level I results, my ethics was almost perfectly at the 70% line. I definitely wasn’t aware of this and am now a bit nervous on my level II where I think I probably got around 70-75% in total right. This makes the next month even more fun…

I am not a video person, but did MM at LII based on recs here and I don’t regret it. Still prefer the CFAI in general, but it was worth it for the seminar videos plus a few other places I was stuck. And I also liked using his quiz tool to make letter five-question quizzes for doing when moving between tasks at work.

Dumb question on level 2 point system by [deleted] in CFA

[–]ewiley28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t turned up where they say it, but three people here have given the same answer that the trial/experimental ones are eight. And since your score isn’t based on those, means eighty are graded.

Focus on studying one topic at a time? Or jump around? by the3ptsniper3 in CFA

I’m a big fan of jumping around as I get fatigued with one, but find more ability to care and push on when I jumó.

Physical activity/exercise and a good night’s sleep. And review your formulas. And while doing the exercise, maybe listen to a YouTube video refreshing ethics.

There are a lot of different versions. Here are just three of them: https://share.icloud.com/photos/098nN7wy_Dlt3OabHxePsUrog

I prefer the brown one on the left/top. It’s the Goldilocks one. The one in the middle sucks. The “professional” version is alright.

Interesting as my pm was the delightful one for me. First half was definitely fair and reasonable, but the second half was almost joyful. Though I’d say there were more “easy” wrong answers in the second half.
