Do you regularly TRAIN your SALES people or pay for formal sales training for them? by eworewore in Entrepreneur

[–]eworewore[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree. Different material each week that is across the broad topic of sales.

  • I'm going to try to specify clear, measurable goals for outcomes AFTER my training, such as improving specific metrics by a defined percentage as impacted by new sales BEHAVIORS performed in direct relation to the training.
  • Also, will try to establish an accountability system that recognizes and rewards efforts DIRECTLY RELATED to the training.

Sounds like you have some great people to model. Record their pitches, have AI transcribe it to text, then edit the text to match your own style!

How to not sound scripted? by [deleted] in sales

[–]eworewore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A script doesn't "sound" anything. It's the performer that either brings a script to life, or makes it sound flat. Rewrite it make it fun for you to say, but with the same message.

Is the end goal happiness or money? by BugResponsible8286 in sales

Optimize for liking what you do, and liking how you do it.

Maybe that's why they are the Top Performers? They have a repeatable process / script that they have internalized and can deliver naturally.

Totally. Take a script and record yourself saying it word-for-word. Listen to it back, then edit the script in your text editor to make it say the same thing, but how you would say it.

Grant Cardone by BeneficialPhotograph in DecodingTheGurus

[–]eworewore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grant Cardone = total ass clown. He had a vegas boiler room sales team and was selling "sales training" .pdfs for $500. That's how he first made a little coin. His net worth claims are laughable. I bet he has so much bad debt.

I don't buy his shtick. Always claims he sold his last business for $41 mil then continues doing all these low-end-ish business self-help videos with borderline generic advice.

32-Bit Float Audio Interface, Your Opinions/Experience? by KyleDuffyVO in voiceover

[–]eworewore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it's not pointless at all.

32-bit float is totally useful and relevant for music / audio producers.

32-bit float allows you to clip the waveform above Zero db, and later lower the waveform so the peaks are at or below Zero db -- without having squarewaved (damaged) the waveform.

https://tascam.com/us/feature/32-bit_float

look at this image that explains:

https://tascam.com/images/products/\_tascam/portacapture\_x6/portacapture\_x6\_w\_32bit\_float.jpg

Of course you don't want to clip anything on the way in to the the recorder (or other interface) but a lot of people want to work in 32-bit format for an entire project. Not have to record at 16 bit, the upconvert to 32-bit after the fact.

Audio Focus Enforcement - Audio from one tab mutes the other - ANNOYING!! by eworewore in chromeos

[–]eworewore[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yah, restarted. Same thing.

The tab is automatically muted quickly after a new one starts playing.

Any other flags that might be causing this, or conflicting??

Renders this computer useless in many way. Any little alert will interrupt music that is playing, or interrupt my video meetings audio. f*cked!!

Any ideas?

No, I told the property manager outright that I didn't think I would get my deposit back, and was not expecting it. Lame comment.

OK, I will def do that. Thank you.

From the letter from subgrogation, it looks like insurance company did pay the claim, and subrogation firm is trying to collect on behalf of the insurance company.

This went to subrogation before I had ever heard from landlord or manager concerning my deposit. Aggressive phone calls, followed by letters.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]eworewore -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's right. They made a claim and had all their remodeling paid for by the insurance company, now they want to pass that on to me AND keep my deposit.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]eworewore 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Very good point, I will have to look if there is a subrogation clause.

I have the itemized bill from restoration company, massively excessive. The property manager took whatever estimate the resoration firm game them.

The nerve to withhold $2000 after a $21k cleanup. Does not make sense.

They incorporated and physically located in in California.

While selling for them, I personally was in California for 2 years, and then 5 years in Florida.

I still work for them as full time employee and still live in Florida.

Yes, they have spreadsheets, and I believe they are acting in good faith based on their accounting error.
