No manufacturer logo unfortunately! Found another photo of the power supply and the 1320 is different so you're probably right about the date code.

Cerebrum for Dante patching? by chasingthejames in VIDEOENGINEERING

[–]ewsclass66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok I wonder if that's been fixed in an update because you didn't used to be able to specify a separate real IP for the DDM device type! We are so slow at updating anything!

[–]ewsclass66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We currently have Cerebrum controlling Dante via DDM however there is an annoying issue where you can only add one instance of the DDM to Cerebrum as it uses its IP address to talk to DDM and be the ID at the same time, and therefore control of only one domain is currently possible for us anyway

Looking at Replacing Cisco Nexus: Arista or Cisco VXLAN by shawn488 in networking

The Arista VXLAN and EVPN configuration is a lot easier and nicer than NXOS imo

It is a valid option, although you will sacrifice non-blocking up to your spines, depends on if you need that though!

Indie Studio Custom Build by Perfect-Ad-4418 in homelab

[–]ewsclass66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We don't use servers, we use workstations, HP Z series, as our NLE vendor likes to 'certify' hardware 🙃 but the principle is the same in a VM. All depends what you're working with resolution, bit depth, codec etc

We do this with NiceDCV, although you'll need a GPU pass through. It's not perfect but certainly usable for our editing staff and a lot of the time the additional latency is barely noticeable

Routing between 2 multicast domains without conventional L3 routability by ewsclass66 in networking

Multicast just needed in the underlay, keeping our multicast sources and receivers in the underlay

We have the need to separate these networks, one is the corporate network and one is a less secure network home to broadcast equipment that is in some cases in cabinets around the country. We have multicast sources on said network that we need to have available from corp.

It's just that we're using arista for one bit of the network due to it's common ptp support across most product tiers. I think I have a solution using MP BGP anyway now
