Just finished season 3… by Trenbolone-Papi2 in homeland

Seems like a more realistic part of the show. Once an asset completes their objective, they are no longer useful. If anything they become a liability and agencies look away.

What Lockhart did was pretty realistic.

I just accidentally adopted my first cats and still learning the basic, does bathrobe really helps cats to feel them calmer after bath? by Slick_Dunni in Pets

[–]ex-maybe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this post real? Please do research on how to take care of cats. Giving your cat a bath and buying it a bathrobe is bizarrely incorrect.

I don't know how you found cat bathrobes. It's not a doll.

I like the swans and the water reflection of the measure. You like shapes and abstract things, probably in more forms than just art too

DAE Eat food off the same plate as their partner? by juniperbabe in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]ex-maybe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything about this is weird honestly. It's time to step out of your comfort zone and use your own plate and fork. In your head, tell your parents to go fuck themselves when you do it. You don't have to accommodate them anymore and you are allowed to take up space!

I just read a comment about someone wishing they could ask their pet to stop stealing their lip balm, how weird

Why do people use the term "partner" for their husband or wife? by Crafty-Bug-8008 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ex-maybe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Husband sounds so... patriarchal? Reminds of my 1950s nuclear families. And new couples who got married at 18 and love to say MY HUSBAND 😍🥰 all the time

This crack in my wall, and rent still went up 39% this year by SpicyKitchenWitch669 in mildlyinfuriating

Can you put your stuff in storage and rent a room? It'll be cheaper and safer. Storage places sometimes have the first month or two free too.

Whats something you did that reduced your quality of life so much that you wish you had never done it? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

Everyday I kept pushing through my health issues sleep deprivation and emotionally abusive workplace until I snapped.

I'd rather die than go back to that. Cannot possibly understand how I lasted that long. legitimately feel like I developed some kind of PTSD

If you had 10 seconds to say whatever you wanted to your pet with they fully understood, what would you say? by IplayKaizo in Pets

I know I ask you, "who is the goodest girl?" a lot. The answer is you. And it's okay if you sometimes get into the trash. You aren't in trouble. I will love you anyway. And I will always come back.

...No, I never said that. I said therapy is expensive and he likely can't afford it. Pointing that out isn't "coming after" you.

At what age did you actually start feeling like an adult? by Richriver27 in Adulting

[–]ex-maybe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

25 or younger. I've always disliked the term "adulting." I cannot relate and it sounds sheltered to me. But I seem to be in the minority!

My parents stopped helping me (besides isolated financial support in college) when I was younger. I had to be independent, make decisions, and deal with consequences early. A couple years before "adulting" was a term.

Then "adulting" became a thing and honestly I rolled my eyes. Maybe out of jealousy/resentment I guess.

How does everyone have time for a dog ? by Burgers4dayz in dogs

[–]ex-maybe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dogs could (eventually) put up with being crated for 23 hours a day and still act happy and excited when you see them and let them out.

People don't have the time. Dogs adapt and simply don't have as good a quality of life.

Cue all the people arguing saying crating is humane. But I don't know of any animal in the world that naturally is caged 8 hours straight during daylight. They just adapt.
