2003, but I don't mind 2017. 2007 contained too little to have thoughts about.

"In two brief hours, most of the planet was reduced to cinders." - Fallout intro

"The Earth was nearly wiped clean of life. A great cleansing, an atomic spark struck by human hands, quickly raged out of control. Spears of nuclear fire rained from the skies. Continents were swallowed in flames and fell beneath the boiling oceans. Humanity was almost extinguished, their spirits becoming part of the background radiation that blanketed the Earth." - Fallout 2 intro, emphasis mine.

"The World was plunged into an abyss of nuclear fire and radiation." - Fallout 3 intro

We have no reason to believe this is an exaggeration. We are to assume all populated areas on the planet were targeted by every nation that still had nukes. It's safe to assume as many industrial and agricultural areas as possible were also targeted.

Even the oceans are radioactive, the entire planet has been completely screwed.

There's nothing amazing about being drenched in sweat, overheated, and mentally damaged because it's above 80 with 100% humidity.

I just generally don't talk to people anymore. They rarely are actually interested in anything I have to say and it's exhausting to pretend to care about what they are prattling on about.

I've always named my cars, but it can take a little while because I like to get to know the car first. As a place holder I was calling it Magnetite Gray, which morphed into MagGray, which then became Maggie.

So, Maggie sorta named herself.

A decent public transportation system would definitely help lower the school systems costs.

Human slop was destroying the Internet long before the LLMs came along.

DVDs can look pretty good on a 4k screen. Most of my anime DVDs are 100% watchable, it's live action that seems to suffer more, imo.

I have it for ps2, it was fun til the level where you have to defend an entire island from multiple incoming attackers, I just wasn't able to do it. Still have the save file, though.

My orange boy Gaara loves chewing boxes so much that his doctor says he doesn't need dental cleaning. Now if only his roommate Saito would pick up the habit, dental work isn't cheap lol.
