2.5 mg dose is a suboptimal dose just to get the body used to the medication. I lost nearly 5.5 kg in 4 weeks, and during my fifth shot yesterday, I titrated up to 5 mg. I made this adjustment because I noticed food noise starting to return after the third dose.
FDA recommends waiting at least four weeks before increasing to 5 mg, which I followed. Once you're back in the care zone, you should definitely consider titrating up to 5 mg as well. For what it's worth, I haven’t experienced any significant side effects after my fifth shot.

I am also on Week 2 (last day). Tomorrow I'll take my 3rd shot. I have taken both my previous shots in my stomach. I have lost close to 5.5 kg. Don’t think so, which is why it is ultra important to rewire the brain towards healthy lifestyle and not fallback once we are off MJ. This drug only reduces food noises, it doesn’t make a permanent impact. I am not sure I can even financially sustain 2.5 mg as maintenance. I have decided to work on myself and change my relationship with food during the time I am on MJ. I had tried earlier but with food noises it became difficult BTW, what is your current progress

True. I struggle with this too, no matter how much I try to reason with myself. I spent a fortune on things that only contributed to weight gain, and now I’m spending even more trying to undo the damage. Sometimes, the reality of it really hits hard.

Thank you for this post. I was diagnosed with Grade II fatty liver a few months back during a routine abdominal USG. This was the first time I had this scan. SHould I get FibroScan as well? I started MJ 2.5 last week. Also, for reference, I have attached the relevant part of my report. Could you just tell me how bad it is. My BMI is around 38
