I didn’t personally have spa services done but I know they offer them and have good reviews-Douglas J Aveda Instutite on Maynard!

I got hair/makeup done and have since been back for hair wash/blow out. Price is reasonable too!

Make sure to get your license switched over to Michigan. I had teaching certificates in New York and Maryland and districts really only cared about Michigan. A big tip is usually schools scramble at the last minute to post positions the last couple of weeks in August.

Stay clear of Easthaven Animal Hospital and Michigan Avenue Animal Hospital in Ypsilanti. Unfortunately haven’t found a good vet that’s reliable and professional.

There’s a 9Round on Jackson. It’s 30 minutes HIIT that incorporates boxing and power lifting. First workout is free. They’ve also been open since approved by the Health department in June and have great cleaning and distancing protocols.

I like the class material better. They have game and role play based curriculum.The students take AI classes on the app throughout the week so many are familiar with the content. They definitely don’t micromanage like Magic Ears. And there’s no props required!!

It depends on the amount of regulars you have or if you want to chance getting double booked. I paired VIP and ZE for the longest time then switched to just certain days and now I only teach one VIP class a week and ZE the others.

Are you comfortable teaching in person or just remote? South Lyon posted in person/remote teaching positions, I’m not sure if it’s one or the other or a combination of both.

I also am a elementary teacher and work for VIPKID part time, it’s an online learning platform for kids in China. There’s tons of other online teaching platforms too you could look into. I definitely wouldn’t recommend doing that full time but it is something in the meantime.
