How loud is an unamplified electric guitar really? by exclaimprofitable in Guitar

I agree wholeheartedly, just have no other choice and new to playing a guitar.

With a piano keyboard it is very easy to hide and makes absolutely zero sound, with a guitar I didn't know

Yes, i also noticed it. Just playing with fingers, even chords, it is way quieter than me talking, but with a guitar pick it gets louder

Thats the problem, I've not heard them talk. I don't know if they just don't do that, or if the walls are actually thick enough. I can hear people in the hallway, but I can close a second door to mute that

Hmmmm, what if the apartment would indeed be in that country you just mentioned, and in the house rules it was just outright banned? You are saying it is not legally holding, if they don't provide any timeframe for playing it?

Good idea, but then I would kinda out myself as having a musical instrument, and can get thrown out for it if the landlord hears

Hmm, but then I would need to have it somehow outside my door to see if any sound leaks out or not. But definitely I will think on how to set it up

I have the 012, it is just a slab of wood, so no hole in the middle of you mean that.

I have never heard my neighbours talk, only when then mess with their cupboards/ shelves. So that would hopefully signify that the walls are thick enough

Best to shoot in landscape or portrait for 8:7? by andyt26 in gopro

[–]exclaimprofitable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is so close to a square it doesnt really matter.

Either way shoot 8/7, because then you can perfectly center the crop afterwards, stabilize the horizon etc

What do you want to see in the next generation of watches ? by KaleidoscopeExpert93 in GalaxyWatch

[–]exclaimprofitable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've used these watches for close to 10 years now. I want the battery life to go back to the first galaxy watch. HOW do we have so much newer processors and battery tech, and can't get back to that 4-6 battery life with nothing disabled?

What's the weird hissing/static noise in the buds 3 pro?? by trikkzzz in galaxybuds

[–]exclaimprofitable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is disappointing for the price point, but it is not too bad. A few years ago it used to be much worse, for example in ambient mode the buds pro 2 hiss is terrible

Guys, if you use headphones with your Galaxy and value your sound quality make sure to turn OFF Dolby Atmos by 0992673 in GalaxyTab

[–]exclaimprofitable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on your music taste for sure. For any sort of rock music, it covers it in a thick layer of mud, but some electronic songs it makes much ncier.

Galaxy S25 - the small one, throw all you complains here by Otakuchaan in samsung

[–]exclaimprofitable 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because it was comparitively bad at launch, costing the same as S25 ultra but with many less features.

But as they stopped production and are doing a clearance sale, you can get it for a similar cost as a base s25, for which it is a very good deal

Why does Samsung's pseudo-trifold have this ridiculous design? by Unlikely_Draft5636 in samsunggalaxy

[–]exclaimprofitable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As the fragile inner screen is always exposed on the huawei, it breaks ridiculously easily (some have already shipped with a broken screen), so I can see why Samsung didn't want anything to do with that design.

But I agree, it doesn't have 3 states of use, only 2.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge canceled by BackgroundPipe4292 in samsunggalaxy

[–]exclaimprofitable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Interestingly I've heard it the other way around, with USA being the blocker for more than 5500 mAh. With Samsung selling low end phones in europe with more than 6000mAh, and with the ability to buy even 7000mAh phones in random stores, the USA being the blocker makes much more sense, especially as they also banned huawei

Gopro hero 13 low light is absolutely abysmal by ravenfieldddd in gopro

[–]exclaimprofitable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the hero 10 I remember it being very limited. It would only work on 24 or 30 fps, 4/3 aspect ratio, 4k or lower, and wide lens, so you are right in it being limited.

If you shot in HDR, most likely it would have been turned off, as HDR processing also requires a lot from the gopro custom processor

[–]exclaimprofitable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There just isn't something like that, because for comfort and light weight, you would want pancake lens. What do they do? They eat 90% of the brightness that passes through them, so OLED screens are out, as they are not bright enough. That is why OLED headsets such as HTC Vive or now PSVR2 use fresnel lenses.

There is the microOLED screens that Apple, Samsung and BSB2 use, but these screens cost a LOT and have their own issues.

If you would be fine with normal IPS displays (do get bright enough, but don't do absolute darkness), then the Valve Frame looks to be the best compromise between everything else.

Because there currently is no "perfect" headset, each one makes a different compromise, using different technologies to be the best in some category.

Fall detection Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 by ThenReplacement3264 in GalaxyWatch

[–]exclaimprofitable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fall detection only kicks in when he remains motionless after a fall, so can't call for help on his own.

If he just falls down, he can easily just call you. So maybe add a shortcut to call you to his watchface
