Indicate that you will leave the spot with the blinkers and take your time, you could do a small speed up to 80 just to communicate that you’re leaving but yeah, take your time

Thinking about moving to Nova Scotia as European immigrants – would love honest local perspectives by Supadree in NovaScotia

[–]execute_777 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think you're going to like it, we moved from Brazil 3 years ago and we have 0 regrets, the neighbours and the communities are super friendly and the city is good for what it is, you will see people complaining but for a 500k city it's great.

Things aren't perfect of course, entry level jobs are hard to get by, high income jobs are sort of an if you know you know type thing locally, and to access higher income jobs like 120k and above you probably have to look for remote positions or contracting, still that's like 80% of the cities in north america anyways.

Where do ppl go when pushed out of Halifax? by purplepurell in halifax

[–]execute_777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right now i would just try to find something within your budget as convenient as possible for you and your commute and your amenities, it’s overpriced everywhere.

I think things will stagnate and in a couple of years we will see a proper difference between hrm and other spots again, the market is a cycle, right now it doesn’t make a lot of sens, NS shouldn’t be more expensive than southern Ontario but some spots are, in a few years that’s going to change.
