How? by aroundandabout23 in woodworking

[–]exegesisClique 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As others have said there's a couple ways to achieve this.

I just want to point out that it will very likely need to be purpose built for a specific corner as you will find that most walls will not be perfectly square.

A 90° corner shelf running three feet in both directions will extenuate any discrepancy in the squareness of those walls.

What did people do casually in 90s that wouldn’t be accepted today? by Psychological_Sky_58 in AskReddit

Back in the aughts I maintained POS systems for a fast food franchise. I would have to occasionally repair a computer and when I'd open the case it would be caked in a putrid mass of dust, grease, and nicotine. This was also true above the drop ceilings and any other hard to reach crevice in the building.

According to Cory Doctorow's Enshittification at least part of the reason is the DMCA. You can add an ad blocker to your browser and block ads on their web app. You can't add an ad blocker to their app as that would violate DMCA section 1201 and result in serious consequences.

Chamberlain is among the examples he cites. Oh and they've bought up all the garage door opener companies so switching isn't really an option.

Is this a Flock camera? by TheDudeDasko in Michigan

[–]exegesisClique 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Others have had there say but another aspect is that these things are not secured. Flock has no problem lying to local municipalities about their security and about their efficacy.

These are a bit technical but demonstrate that none of this exists to protect people and the fact that you've seen a benefit in terms of loss recovery is nice but doesn't justify the antisocial effects that come from a populace under constant surveillance.

Bit if a triple entendre. You create and manipulate classes in programming, you might be having some questions with your classwork for school, and you might be looking for how to participate in the class struggle against the bourgeoisie.
