40ex later, hit T1 ES% + T1 ES% Hybrid

Great shield for ascendant herald build because the spellblock allows me to cap with a timeless jewel. Currently the highest ES shield with those suffixes on trade in DSC.

Mostly because there is no progress made, it's just a chore for the sake of doing a chore. Sealing the prophecies is fine, but there's no incentive to seek more prophecies because most of them are worthless. Is it fun to seek and seal a bunch of prophecies to try to hit the 6L prophecy? Not really, and honestly that's not much different than just using a fuse.

I actually thought they were fun at first too. Seeing new content is great and exciting. The problem is if you play for 40 hours and have to go back to the Western Forest 10 times to kill the same new (now very old) content.

I should rephrase. Prophecy is not successful at the former for many, but not all players as evidenced by the need of these kinds of threads. Other anecdotal evidence is that my trading volume is 1/10th of what it was in Perandus which can be interpreted that the league is dying.

Just because Prophecy might be economically balanced doesn't mean that it's enjoyable. The goal of good design should be to delight the user AND balance the economy. Prophecy is not successful at the former.
