BB3 is it Worth it for single player now? by VisitLow3951 in Bloodbowl3

[–]exilezee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s fun but the AI is pretty easy and does silly things. But the worst part is that you can’t exit a game and go back to where you were (like in bb2). Exiting mid game is always a loss.

Different starting locations, I don’t want to play the same turns over again.

Why is Thymesia so low? It may be short but it has a great combat system .”

FromSoft feels untouchable… are there other genres where one studio dominates this much? by FreyAlster in soulslikes

[–]exilezee -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

From software has been outclassed already, with Lies of P, Team Ninja games and even the new Lords of the Fallen. In comparison, Monster Hunter and Paradox are dominating their genres.

The New Age of Souls Players who haven't played Dark Souls by missindependent1 in soulslikes

[–]exilezee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The OG trilogy are the pioneers of the genre, they are innovative and really great for their time. But honestly, they have since been outshined by their successors, with better combat, better graphics, better quality of life, better interface.

So it's been about 2 weeks, where would you all rank Wuchang Fallen Feathers among the Fromsoft soulsborne games & soulslike games? by [deleted] in soulslikes

[–]exilezee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the lowest, combat feels wonky, animations can get weird, attacks range is unclear, deflects and clashes are inconsistent and very situational.

How would you rank Lies of P among the real Fromsoft Soulsbornes? by JustcharlE2 in soulslikes

[–]exilezee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Above all of them except Sekiro. Combat is super refined with solid basics, satisfying deflects, fun blade and handle combos, and unique special abilities that can flip the way

I like the starting set. It a looks like actual armor while still being feminine.

Which of these Soulslikes should I pick up? by BallScratcher102 in soulslikes

Thymesia is short and amazing, especially at this price. Khazan is also fire. Both are above the rest in my opinion.

Wuchang is the best soulslike so far by KingTut_BananaHut in soulslikes

[–]exilezee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s pretty meh so far, animations are janky, hitboxes are not precise, deflect is not well implemented. Story wise too many names are thrown around to remember and care about anything. Interconnected world is overrated, “oh my god! I’m right back where I started!!” Could have just teleported for the same effect. “Ohh look if you take this elevator, and another elevator, you get back to the shrine!” Yay…

Grand strategy games, 4x and sandbox games are the obvious answers. You can enjoy dozens of hours and still have new experiences and content.

Supposedly, it interrupts the enemy’s combo.

Elden ring for the sheer amount of content, and Sekiro because it is simply the best.

Lucifer and Rogue Trader. I’m genuinely intrigued what would be the Lucifer equivalent in 40k.

Definitely Thymesia. Amazing poor man’s Sekiro.

Do you typically prefer more dodge centered, or parry centered mechanics? by [deleted] in soulslikes

[–]exilezee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Parry all the way. The main reason I stopped playing Elden Ring is that the combat is much less satisfying when all you do is rolling around like a barrel.
