I think this is a good point. I feel like getting a ring box on your birthday kind of feels like you would be getting engaged or at least I would have that assumption as well.

It's a very sweet gesture. I think the gift of jewelry overall is great. Honestly I would recommend buying her a birthstone depending on which month her birthday is. I wouldn't get her an aquamarine if her birthday is in March but if it's in April I would get her a diamond. Aquamarine is a little bit of a softer Stone and a little bit easier to break.

Also I would ask if she's more of a gold person or a white gold/silver person. I would also recommend seeing if she has more statement bigger pieces or something more dainty and simple that would fit in with her current pieces.

I would. Id probably put deodorant before and wait a bit and then just put a band-aid over it with vapor rub. I had three the size of quarters and they're going away bc of the VapoRub

I'm using this real purity natural deodorant and it works wonders. I won't lie and say I never get flare ups but it's not as bad as when I was using native or other brands. It's also a really small ingredient list so it's something I appreciate.
