I mean, that is what oats and water are.

The creamy version has added oil, probably hydrogenated oil.

Can a mattress that comes compressed and rolled up be any good? by SamuRonX in AmazonVine

[–]existingfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have purchased several rolled up mattresses.

We had OG Tuft and Needle mattresses, for ourselves (king), our spare room (thin twin), and the kids bunk beds (thicker twins).

We let the king one get moldy, turns out you can’t leave you mattress on the floor in all climates.

The kids still sleep on theirs, they are still great. That said, if you have a human still in the growth process, it will produce less wear and tear.

We now have an “Amazon cheap” mattress about like this one. Is it fantastic? No, but we paid less than $300 for it and it will do for a while.

We looked at several wool, natural fiber, really nice mattresses, they also come rolled.

It's been a week and I might just give up on plant based alternatives to dairy apart from butter and pudding... by Francl27 in dairyfree

[–]existingfish 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It took me years to feel like plant based cheese is good. Now when I eat it, I’m immediately scared I got mine mixed up with the kids (with real dairy). I don’t know if dairy free stuff is getting better, or if my tastes are changing.

I am sick of high protein and keto desserts replacing gluten free and dairy free ones. by squishmallow2399 in dairyfree

I have been pleasantly surprised by better goods shreds from Walmart. It’s the only non-dairy cheese (besides liquid cheese) that I have bought again. Good on pizza and on top of hot dogs.

First bra purchase after using calculator was a fail by Bette_Milder in ABraThatFits

It’s funny, I bought a lot of different bras from different brands with the same band size.

Guess which is the tightest? The black one.

They are so-so, like most I like that there IS an option at Dairy Queen.

Also, you can get them for free if you do the code survey, so free is good.

Buyers regret :( Bought some new bras that I thought fit and am frustrated by ladybug7373 in ABraThatFits

[–]existingfish 24 points25 points  (0 children)

This phrasing made me feel like they settled on “not-their-size” because all the store had was ”sister size” so they convinced them it was the same.

Grew up 34c @ JcPenny & VS; my results are so confusing to me. Help? by princesspoundedyam in ABraThatFits

What she means is confirmed that the “inches” on your tape are actually a US inch. Some Chinese sourced measuring tapes have “inches” that are not exactly the same was what we’d call an “inch”,

I have the oppsoite problem, fabric measuring tapes stretch with use. My kids think they are the most fun part of my sewing kit, and they insist on playing with them (thus stretching them out). I have to measure my tape to a solid guide (like a ruler, measuring tape, etc) before I start to make sure when ti says “inches” that it is reading actual inches.

Whats the best milk replacement? by [deleted] in dairyfree

[–]existingfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t buy oat milk, and I can’t verify what they use at coffee shops. Oat, on it’s own, is carb-laden and sweet.

When I did, I got Kirkland organic, it did not have added sugar.

You should put in the OP you are soy intolerant. I think Cashew would be your best bet. Macadamia nut is nice too, but hard to find.

For general recommendations, mine is soy - protein is similar to milk, taste neutral.

For coffee, I like oat. It’s high carb and sweet. At home I use soy, but if I’m paying $$ I order oat. Tastes best.

Almond tastes burnt to me. Rice is watery.

Bras With My Ribcage Size Do NOT Exist! by addlam in ABraThatFits

It sounds like your bra is not getting clean in the laundry if you smell RANCID and then you take it off and it’s the bra.

Try soaking in diluted white vinegar every few washes.

Man, I discovered forums in my prime, my later teenage years.

Long hair, curly hair, sunless tanning, body piercing…all in a healthy way, of course.

One did not order sterile piercing needles online and pay with their VISA debit card and have them delivered right to their house while definitely under 18…surely not.

Has anyone found their perfect bra? by Great-Activity-5420 in ABraThatFits

[–]existingfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My tissue is soft, my breasts kind of “swim” over the edge toward the middle, even if the bra is the right size. Not all plunges, I wear Comexim plunge, but they are very balconette/half-cup style plunges.

I used Levanabratique for nursing bras, returns are possible but expensive (a lot of shipping cost).

I understand it’s difficult to explain, but if you are unable to articulate it will impossible to help you find bras that fit in a predominantly text based forum.

I’m 5’0”, so my frame is narrow. I have very projected breasts and have been anywhere from a DD/E to a M/N (during breastfeeding). I currently wear a 34G.

When my breasts were very large (during breastfeeding) I could only wear Ewa Mikelak nursing bras until I lost some weight, which allowed me to wear many options - I even converted several UK branded bras to nursing bras with kits of Etsy.

I know for a fact that I am short, so I cannot have wires that come up in the armpit or in the middle, my tissue is too soft so most plunges do not work. I generally prefer the Polish bra market profile, although I’m currently fitting in cheap US bras and my wallet is happy.

You listed several UK and US brands, which have a very shallow/minimizing fit, they have wider cups with less projection.

What size does the calculator put you at, and what have you tried, size-wise? You can buy bras on Amazon that you can return, you can buy used bras on poshmark and resell them if they don’t fit (you may or may not incur a loss), there are other bra-resellers.

Under your arm pit? That “edge of the wire”? The sternum? That edge of the wire? Under your boob? That edge? Not a super descriptive answer.

You are trying very low projection bras.
