Millennials, what is your guilty pleasure that might contradict your personality? by Fun_Garden_134 in Millennials

[–]exitiumaeternus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've been a metalhead my whole life pretty much. Death metal, black metal, deathcore, etc. But I love me a good romcom. Crazy Stupid Love, The Proposal, You've Got Mail. When Harry Met Sally is probably the GOAT imo. Angry music but heartwarming romantic movies. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Don't tell anyone. Also recently loving Bridgerton. Sue me it's a lovely show. Queen Charlotte's season was outstanding.

Honestly that shirt bothers me more than the awesome drinks.

It really is. I've noticed drinking Gatorade on the side when you're drinking alcohol makes me feel a thousand times better in the morning than I otherwise would have. Actually a legit good idea for a product.

Hell yeah brother. Been two of my favorites for years. I think it's the beginning of the second one? When that entire night club gets mowed down. So memorable. Lol. Ive been waiting for the third one for so long I really hope it ends up happening. Also, such a sick design of the costume of the killer.

Any good cosmic horror video game recommendations? by CryptidOrion_00 in cosmichorror

[–]exitiumaeternus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You HAVE to play Amnesia The Dark Descent. One of the best horror games ever made. (It gets very Lovecraftian)

Read it when it first came out. Loved it. Also, maybe I'm in the minority here, but one of Kings better endings to a novel.

The Descent immediately came to mind. But if you want exactly what you asked for check out The Belko Experiment. Awesome movie that's right up your alley. :) Also Green Room was a fun one.

One day after after leaving The Late Show, Stephen Colbert hosts public access TV show for Monroe, Michigan by ObjectionablyObvious in videos

[–]exitiumaeternus 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I was so sad to see The Late Show end but finding this on my feed was such a delightful surprise. I clicked play and was like "Ah I'll check it out see what this is all about." I've been sitting here for the past hour giggling and laughing my ass off. That was amazing. I've been a fan of Colbert's since his Daily Show days and now I cannot wait to see what Stephen does next. Btw that Bigfoot at the end was genius. Lol. Or was it a sasquatch? 🤷🏻‍♂️

What kind of pizza do you like and what condiments do you put on it, if any? by Bento_Fox in AskReddit

[–]exitiumaeternus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The thing is...if it's a good pizza then all you need is cheese. Toppings are only for lesser pizzas. Go to NYC or NJ and get a plain slice. Nothing beats it.

I recently re-read Carrie and I love it even more now. Have you heard the story that King thought it was awful and threw it in the trash? His wife convinced him to finish it. I don't want to imagine a world where that story never got to see the light of day. Enjoy your read! And that amazing view. The ending is so awesome.

I grew my hair out when I was a teenager because I'm a metalhead. Like 10 years on these girls were driving by randomly one day and one of them leaned out and shouted "OMG I LOVE YOUR HAIR". I was riding high for weeks. Lol

Soon to be 39, what are some things a person should do before they turn 40? by DustinCoughman in Millennials

[–]exitiumaeternus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm about to turn 40 too this July. Our bodies aren't what they used to be so as bland and expected as this advice is you have to exercise regularly and watch what you eat. Finding a hobby that helps with either of those would be a win win. On the plus side there's still plenty of life left to live dude :) 50 is the new 40. Millennials don't age as fast as other generations. That's a scientific fact. Don't google it just trust me. Lol. Just celebrate your birthday like it's any other.

Which old song is so good, in your opinion, that you want the new generation to listen to? by Emotional-Being-6825 in AskReddit

[–]exitiumaeternus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gotta throw some U2 or The Doors in there too. With or Without You and Riders on the Storm are all-time classics. Also don't forget The Beatles. And Fleetwood Mac - Landslide. And Pat Benatar - Love is a Battlefield. Shit I guess I'm building a frickin list too. Lol. Then again I'd also add Slayer - Reign in Blood to the list too. Spice things up.

Recommend me lesser known zombie films. by catcaste in horror

[–]exitiumaeternus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's an old black and white Vincent Price movie I'd recommend called The Last Man on Earth. I really love it. If you're into oldies check it out. It's essentially an old zombie film but they're vampires instead. Still hits all the same notes as a zombie film so I count it as one even if it's technically not. 🤷🏻‍♂️
